I returned it because it was Amazon sign in. So I did not want it!!

It was a good tablet but it stop working a little over a month after i bought it.

Slow browsing. Don’t really use it after buying. Not worth it.

Very amazon centric product. You cannot install apps. I bought it to read books via kindle and libby. But it did not allow me to install libby app. Also charging was the issue. It did not take charge, hence returned it.

Didn’t like it you have to pay for another applications to be used with the tablet

I would let a little kid use this. Device is laggy and apps crash constantly. Should have spent more on a Lenovo Chromebook or something at least that is a more stable version of Android than this Amazon Fire skinned nightmare. It may be cheap but you do get what you pay for. Avoid.

Terrible quality doesn’t work have tried several times to get this work and it does not will be returning to store. Also, will not hold a SDC card like we were told it would, to review pictures

I've owned two of the previous generations of the Fire HD 8, beyond being a faster tablet the battery life is much better and sound wise the speakers were tweaked for better sound quality at higher volumes. When it comes to running applications the application switching is very fast and smooth compared to previous generations. Touchscreen has gotten better, using a fine tip stylus works great. Durability is amazing, my cat knocked this off the table and the screen didn't break nor were there any scratches or dents from the drop. Overall I've been very impressed at how great the Fire HD 8 has been for streaming Netflix, listening to music and for applications.

This piece of crap worked for about a month. Now all it says is detects water and won't charge. Amazon nor best buy will honor the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Biggest headache of this year.

I thought this tablet worked like all the other tablets. There are a lot of drawbacks with a kindle fire, especially apps, not all apps are compatible. I bought this mostly to use with my Pro Form Treadmill but the IFit app won't work with this tablet.

CANNOT COMMENT AS I RETUTNED IT BEFORE I OPENED THE BOX. BOUGHT IT FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. AFTER MORE RESEARCH IT WAS NOT UP TO SNUFF FOR THE PURPOSE I NEEDED IT FOR. SO SPENT ANOTHER 200 BUCKS FOR A SAMSUNG GALAXY THAT MORE THAN FITS THE BILL.

Was a birthday gift, when returned unopened boxes was initially denied refund of any kind, then manager offered store credit as if he was doing me a huge favor, pressed an was finally given a full refund.

We have no idea as this came without a cord/charger. I have left messages at my Best Buy location with no response and due to COVID did not want to visit the store.

Bought this from Best Buy because you had the tablets that didn't have the sponsored Screensaver. Who wants add on your kids tablets? Turns out that was mentioned anywhere on the page. Kind of dishonest don't you think?
