It really depends on the price point, however. During the course of the year, these things can fluctuate as much as 50%. If at full price, I would probably recommend the HD10. You get an larger screen and better processor (octo-core vs quad-core). If on sale, this can be a huge leap over the HD7 lineup for minimal cost increase.

I'm actually loving the thing

But you can load up Google play and remove the dev block on this tablet and it becomes a get value tablet with a larger screen and games work great with the new processor in the 10th gen fire.

It’s an excellent device for the price. Don’t expect to buy this & expect it to perform as an iPad. It’s not an iPad. It’s a good tablet for games and reading. It also works well with videos- especially Prime Video. This is good for entertainment purposes only.

They are ecstatic with them. Perfect size. They were toting big laptops around, which are so old the have to remain plugged in so kinda inconvenient. But they are thrill with these. The Christmas sale price was amazing for a tablet of this quality.

Does what I need it to do, would be five stars if the ads weren't so prevalent and annoying.
