The screen on her old one was cracked & really just a mess. I got her this new one and you would have thought I bought her a new car. She said who would not be excited over a new tablet. I would say I was a hero for buying this Kindle. She was very pleased with it.

Volume doesn't go high enough to listen to it in the car or for me to be moving around the room and hear it. I have to be right next to it to hear it. It will also sometimes skip portions of chapters when I'm listening to a book. I might have looked at something else, but the Best Buy where I go is not very helpful. I have never been in the store when someone asked if I wanted assistance. I always have to find someone and always have to wait.
