I lost my Fire and replaced it. I like these tablets.

I got this on sale for $45. The display is okay. Unless you do some workarounds it won't run google play store and I don't think there's Netflix on the Amazon app store. Fairly awkward to use and clunky but if you use it for reading and the occasional non-demanding game it's okay.

We bought this for my wife's 93 year old mother. She likes to read but has eye problems and needs clarity and the ability to use VERY large fonts. This device replaced an older Fire and she is very pleased with her new device. She is much better able to enjoy her reading.

The tablet is fine but the advertisements that pop up when waking the tablet are fantastically annoying! Some of them even have sound, as if the advertisements alone were not bad enough, and frequently interrupt the listener with bothersome and ridiculous chimes. Please, for the love of God, make it stop!!!

Good introduction to e books and easy to use this product.

Amazon makes well rounded tablets. I believe the way these are designed and are designed to be used as a reader for books, e-reading, and audibles. They are not lightning fast and do not need to be. Very nicely done.

Kindle is a great tablet for reading, email and social media. It is weak in apps as you can only get what is in the Kindle store. Overall if you are looking for a basic tablet and not an all around computer tablet I highly recommend the Kindle.

I like the 8in version on the Amazon Fire Tablet! The sound is nice with 2 speakers. Smooth interface while scrolling. Only thing I wish these tablets would come Google Play Store ready, but for the sale price it's worth the buy!

Purchased this device just to read books electronically. It's seriously not being utilized to its fullest but it is doing exactly what I want ... and doing it beautifully! This simplifies reading and can be used almost anywhere. Love the backlit white page too.

This is a great little tablet I never had one before and I thought that this would be a good starter tablet for my husband and he loves it It takes great pic and the coloring on the screen is great I love playing games on it Thank you

I use this as a throw around media consumption device. It does that very well and at this price it holds up well. I don't baby it and it has no damage as of yet. Great for kids if you're worried about them breaking it.

I ordered two tablets for this same 10th generation, one for me and one for my son, we both have experience with this device and we knew we could not be disappointed by how fast and efficient this devise is. couldn't be happier.

My daughter loves it. She’s on it daily and instead of library trips Where the book selections are limited we just get the books on here. She also watches Netflix, Disney Plus and Has downloaded learning games to help with multiplication so she’s good to go.

It's not the fastest, but it does what it's designed to do. With added memory, I use this as a portable media system. Books, music, videos; it does it all really well. (Even keeps the cat entertained!) Highly recommended as a less expensive alternative to a full pad.

Awesome affordable tablet for kids! We subscribe as well to the Amazon Kids app for content. Kids play plenty of Minecraft and Roblox on it without issue. Screen obviously not HD. But it is cheap and worth the buy.
