Especially considering the price, I love this tablet. The 3gb of ram help so much. Now the power is not as good as say an ipad, but for 1/3 the price of a standard ipad, that is fine. I have played games on the Fire and it works great, just have to play in low to medium graphics. I love my Fire and it works great as long as you have the correct expectations! You can download the google playstore, just search on youtube how to do it, its very easy and makes the tablet even better:)

I was not aware that everything was going through Amazon. I thought it was going to be set up with Google like the past tablet I bought. Hard for me to navigate.

I bought it as a reader. I does the job well. Works excellent for the price and just the right size.

Purchased for my wife. She has seen me use my original Kindle and Kindle Fire 7 & 8 over the last 8 years (they all still work) asked me to get her one. I have taken them all over the world with me. She loves using it at home on the couch and she can drop it in her purse and go. Works great with Prime anywhere you get wifi. Purchased on a good sale so it is a great value. I have checked out hundreds of books from the public library to read on Kindle.
