I was using the Kindle app on my iPhone, but it was so small, and I'm not that young anymore, so I took the plunge and ordered this Fire. I love it! I don't have to use an overhead light to read in bed anymore, and the font is the perfect size.

Otherwise, a slow Amazon locked affair. The size is great but the performance leave much to be desired even for the provided specs of the unit. Would be good for those who are not planning any kind of multitasking activities.
