    Purchased for my 5.5 year old to replace an ancient iPad that he's been using for a couple of years. I like being able to set more parental controls, like preventing him from installing apps without my knowledge. I don't like not having access to some of the kid-specific apps we had on his old tablet, like YouTube Kids and Spotify Kids.

    I bought this device for my 11yr old granddaughter. It’s a great device overall and, in my opinion, perfect for children under 12yrs., however, apparently 11 & 12yr old kids today, think they are much older than I thought, because my 11yr old thought it was a little childish. This is the only problem she somewhat complained of, so if you have one of these children just make sure you look over everything before you purchase.
