Wanted to upgrade my old Kindle and after reading other reviews, settled on the Fire 8. I found it was very easy to set up and took very little time. My main use of this is as a reader and after a couple of days found that it is easy to hold, has a better 'viewing' section of my library, adjusting the background lighting was simple and setting up 'collections' for my library was very easy as well. I like the ease of the settings feature and the fact that I can, if desired access my social media from this platform. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a simple, inexpensive e-reader that has added features.

Easy to set up, light weight. The app store is not the best but I am able to use the browser to do business transactions. Highly recommend for a good tablet, not to fancy just right.

Love this tablet! Very durable for the kids and the battery is amazing! Goes for 2 or 3 days without needing a charge.

Nice for the cost. Didn't need a lot of fancy stuff. Just use it to read books, play solitaire and watch movies on trips.

Light weight. Very handy when you need to watch movie or surf online. Need to buy a case because it is very easy to turn off by hand.

Its a great size for the little ones, easy to use and love that it has Alexa! Screen quality is great !

I needed to upgrade . I ordered the Kindle and it was delivered the same day. I am enjoying it very much.

I purchased the 8" Amazon Fire for use by an older person and it has gone well. They previously used a standard Android device running Android 5 which was getting long in the tooth and running out or storage for apps. The 32GB Fire works well and has access to most of the apps we needed. Those that it did not have access to we found alternatives for. It feels lighter and has more plastic than the 7" Tab A it is replacing so I am not sure if it as durable, but it won't have to be rugged for the current user.

I would have given this tablet 5 stars but it is a little challenging when there are some apps that I had prior to this device that requires me to have to go through various difficult steps just to get them loaded onto this device. Otherwise this is a very good tablet. Easy to use, very clear graphics and some nice apps. The speaker on this tablet is pretty poor quality for music but works well for voice. It handles all the apps, videos and games I use very nicely. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple to use nice tablet.
