The tablet is great for streaming apps (I use it mainly for Crunchyroll) but it doesn't get 5 stars due to a couple reasons. 1) The tablet makes a ding sound whenever it turns on/gets plugged in to charge which should be defaulting to off instead of on. Not a huge deal just unexpected. 2) I didn't realize this tablet was the "advertisement version" meaning the lock screen is always a different Amazon advertisement be it a show or product. Again, not a huge deal but what is annoying is the only way to change it to have my own background is to pay Amazon a fee (I believe it is $10-$15) to remove all advertisements. I don't care about them but other consumers might. Other than that, the picture quality is good, the sound is good too and the battery life is surprisingly long lasting. I'd recommend this to someone looking for a tablet on a budget for simple tasks. One other recommendation is to buy a case for this.

Good value for price. Does the basic stuff you need to do on a tablet. Browse the web, watch movies & shows, play games, read ect.

This purchase was a gift for my goddaughter and she absolutely loves it. She has a love for reading just like I do and she raves about her Kindle.

Just what I needed. Something larger than my phone but not a bulky desktop computer or laptop and the price was right.

This one has a little bit of a learning curve being a Kindle Fire. I'm use to my husbands paper white one. I've hid all the apps except for the kindle. I'm pleased with it, I just don't like how much battery it tends to use in a short period. The paper white can go weeks, this can go maybe hours before it needs charged again. But as a gift I'm very happy to have it. I love the options it does give you while reading and how you can surf the net if you want to. But over all Kindle needs to make just e-readers and leave the tablets to Mac.

bought primarily to browse pictures and play games for the price, it can't be beat great screen, snappy processor, and very lightweight

This tablet has been my family's go-to for 6+ years. All my children have one and it allows for them to have secure browsing and viewing with minimal supervision , due to great security features. Plus MOST games and learning apps can be downloading with no hassle.

Love this for reading. Bought instead of a Kindle and works perfect. Very impressed with the battery life and the option for extra storage.
