Great tablet! Especially if you're a parent who is trying to limit your childs daily screen time, monitor it, and prevent them from getting into anything not kid friendly! I can lock, unlock, and set daily screen times for my children. My children are even able to call me & a few other family members through video or audio call! I will continue buying this tablet for my children until they no longer need to be monitored. I even got the new 10hd for my son as an upgrade! Definitely a great purchase!

This is our 4th Kindle! I have 2 Paperwhites and 2 kindles! My husband and I love to read and when traveling we don’t have to pack several books. We can carry 30+ on each kindle. Having 2 with Wi-Fi capabilities is great. I suggest the Paperwhite for outdoors in the sun. But to access email and internet as well as your books, magazines and newspapers the Kindle is the greatest answer.

I am so enjoying my Kindle plus. It has great apps. I love reading books on this device. The speed to download is very fast. I am not very tech savvy but this Kindle was so easy to set up. I would recommend this Kindle to anyone no matter how tech savvy they may be

This tablet has been my family's go-to for 6+ years. All my children have one and it allows for them to have secure browsing and viewing with minimal supervision , due to great security features. Plus MOST games and learning apps can be downloading with no hassle.

I love my Kindle Fired HD8! It is a good size, & fits comfortably in my hands. It is easy to read the font. There is voice-to-text capabilities, so when you can't read, you can listen. I can do other things on the device (i.e. search the internet, play games, check my email, & many other things).

The device seems to work well and maintain a constant charge. It does what its suppose to do. We have a memory card in it and it reads it. The only problem is downloading movies from Amazon Prime. It downloaded 2 than has an error message. I suspect its a software rather than hardware issue. Trying to resolve this with Amazon. Other than that there has been no issues.

The wife can read in the dark without a light now. Plus the fire hd tablet has features like highlighting areas u read, explaining words you cant understand etc. I personally have the 10.1 plus and its great to catch up on my shows when the tv is in use or visvera. Turn some cartoons on that bad boy and let the kids watchaway. Id definitely buy again because they are reasonable price.

Received as a gift from my husband as my prior tablet/reader was too old to be of any use. The was so easy to set up and so easy to use. I wasn’t sure about a new reader, but I love this one.

Loaded fast. I purchased this for my mom which is a senior and she was able to use it quickly.

It's perfect for me. I was spending a fortune on hard cover books. Then I had the problem ofcwhat to do with them once I read them. I have kept some, but not many. This lottle device helps keep my home clutter free from all the books I read.

Love my Amazon Kindle.. does everything an IPad does for a much better price. I use it for leading worship at church.. connects to blue tooth pedal and ear buds seamlessly and runs the Music Stand app

The product itself works great. Durable. Great battery etc. BUT Bought this for my kids. Here’s the bummer - it has so many endless options for them (games , shows, etc). If you want an option for simpler and minimalist, this isn’t it!!!

Easy to use Amazon fire tablet. It does have ads on the lock screen, and storage is a bit lacking. You can add a micro sd memory card for additional storage. Other than that, it is a great tablet, lots of great apps and games. Great for all ages!

When setting up the Kindle pop-up came up requesting my email address & credit card #. My first thought was Amazon has all this, why are they asking? However, having experience this duplication before with websites I provided the info. Almost immediately I received an email Alice, at Trendyrun.com. The e-mail thanked me for joining Trendyrun. Soon I received other emails from them. I googled them & found that several websites questioned their legitimacy. I called my credit card company & terminated the current card. The 2nd email stated I was being charged $1.00 for the first 24 hours then I would be charged $59.95 each subsequent month. Fortunately, they provide a link to unsubscribe. I contacted Amazon advising them how a hacker could penetrate their set-up process for Kindle. I initially receive an email from Amazon but nothing since then Other than this experience setting up my new Kindle no complaints.

Nice tablet. Bought for clients and they loved them.
