We had an iPad mini for my son to use but had a hard time with him getting out of the apps. With this we are able to download just what he is allowed to watch and play with out any other issues. It keeps him happy he is learning and we love Amazon Freetime! We took a road trip and it was a life saver, best part is he loves to share which not many 2,5yr olds do but he needs so excited to show and share with his friends. Will definitely consider buying another when our 2nd is old enough.

This product is rather simple to set up. My young girls each have one and both enjoy it. You can create different profiles if needed and password protect them if necessary. Provides great entertainment for them on long trips in the car or on a plane.

I got this for my 10 year old he loves it. Very easy to use and learn for him. With the parental controls I dont worry about him watching or doing something inappropriate. Hes dropped it on concrete a few times and the case is amazing it protects it very well with the added bonus of it being extremely light.

I purchased this tablet for my 4 year old and I love it. It has parental control features so I can monitor what she's viewing and see exactly how much time she is spending on each built in app. The tablet comes with a one year amazon free time so there are numerous apps to choose from. Books, movies, and games.

Replaced my daughter's aged 7" Fire HD 5th generation from a few years ago. Wow what a difference comparing that slow and dying turtle of a tablet compared to this new 8" Fire HD. Much more responsive and way better sound quality and display. Very happy and so is my daughter. Can't beat the 1 year free Amazon unlimited subscription and 2 year worry free guarantee. Good stuff.

Has everything I could want. From all the apps to all the parental controls. Easy to use and I’m NOT a technical person. I would suggest a screen protector cause we cracked our screen after a years of wear and tear. Now the color is a little funky but still works!!

I got this on sale for reasonable price and then I found out that it came with one year free apps, etc, it's great. Easy for her to operate , made to survive a child. She enjoys it and Iam glad I got for great grand daughter, it's a good learning tool. Plenty of children's stories too.

This has been an awesome little tablet for my children I bought two of them for the twins, and they love it. These tablets have excellent battery life, and a lot of apps that you can choose from for them to play with that they will enjoy.

I bought this for my grandson when he was 2 1/2 years old. He's 3 1/2 now and still enjoying his tablet. The durable case is a great idea since toddlers are not in control of drops and falls. He loves it and so do I.

My mother only is able to use her left hand She is able to tap when she is playing a matching game And at night fir bed I out on her bible scriptures it holds a great charge. I like the the soft case it is in I do recommend this

I think this a great starter tablet for beginners.It allows them to interact and flow directions with numbers, color and shspes.The tablet lets them search and find what they are interested in and let's not forget the parents to control what the kids are looking at along with how long they are allowed to stay on the tablet.

I got 4 babies that are homeschooled. Bought the Fire Tablet here for all four. Love the parental controls. They really enjoy their tablets and wife likes all the helpful apps for her Homeschool curriculum. Will definitely recommend to others.

The Amazon tablet has been awesome for my son. It is easy for him to operate and seems to control the content in a proper way. It is a relatively simple interface for him to interact with and the tablet comes with a number of parental controls and other abilities for regulating what is being viewed and for how long. Proper for what we need.

We bought the tablet at the beginning of quarantine and it has been a huge help. It has great apps ready to go for both entertainment and education. It has been easy to use for my kid and easy for us to manage.

This is a great tablet, I know there are a lot of reviews about how you cannot download YouTube kids but there is a way to download Google play which will then allow you to download YouTube kids, I was able to do this pretty easily just by watching a YouTube video about it. The only reason I took away a star is because I don't think the kid part of this tablet is very user friendly, and I had a hard time figuring out how to get out of kids mode and back to regular mode. I also thought Alexa could read my kids books but I can't figure out how to do it, and I can't even find a button for the books to play out loud so if my son goes into a story I end up having to read it but like I said maybe I just don't know how to unlock this feature. Otherwise great

When I bought this tablet for my granddaughter she really enjoyed it. It kept her interested in playing games and watching movies and videos. It’s a great for learning. So I decided to buy one for my grandson.

I loved this tablet. My daughter was so thrilled with all the apps, games, and things to keep her occupied. It's also great that it works without WiFi for car trips or anytime you don't have a connection. I would totally recommend!

My daughter is 4 and she loves this. It has plenty of apps loaded from Disney, youtube, Nogin, and many others. she loves playing the number games and just the games in general. I definitely would recommend.

Bought this for my 4 year old son. He loves it and it’s hard to pull it away from him. Only thing I do not like is that the memory is not that big so I have to constantly delete things so he can play the games he wants. It does have a slot for a SD card but I just have not gotten one yet.

This tablet is great for kids. It comes with a protective foam case that really works. Also I like the parental control setting features that allow me to control the amount of usage and the content my daughter sees.
