No instructions for setup either. Goes though batteries fast but writes well. That’s why it’s not a 1-star

We are sorry to hear about the connectivity issues and the battery draining faster than expected. The stylus pen is designed with a replaceable battery rated to last up to six months, so if you are going through batteries more quickly than that, it may be related to a connectivity issue causing excess drain. To help resolve this, please ensure your Fire Max 11 is running the latest software update by going to Settings, then Device Options, and selecting Check for Updates. You can also find setup guides and tutorials in the Settings app under Fire Tablet Accessories. If these steps do not resolve the issue, Amazon Customer Support is available 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. You do need to be careful about hitting the on/off button while reading. I tend to twirl mine while I'm reading and sometimes accidently turn it off. My issue, not the stylus.

Only drawback is it isn't rechargeable, and needs an odd-sized battery: AAAA. Found a rechargeable battery in that size on Amazon, so that'll help, but so strange to have an apple pencil competitor take batteries! :)

The stylus frequently falls off the tablet so I purchased a pencil case to prevent losing it. The pencil case fits easily in my tablet bag so it’s not a big deal!
