This stylus pen for the Amazon Fire Max 11 is immediately ready for use as no pairing is required. Simply unscrew one end, insert the battery and one is ready to go. The quality and weight of the stylus feels very good. It's a good color match to the available keyboard cover and the Fire Max tablet itself.
The stylus pen easily attaches magnetically to the side of the Fire Max tablet. I would have some concern that it could get knocked off inadvertently so separate storage might be a good idea if one is traveling or storing the tablet.
Responsiveness is good whether it was scrolling and navigating the screen, or taking notes or drawing. A button on the side of the stylus allows one to delete text that one strikes through or scribbles over.
I appreciate that the stylus comes with an extra tip and removal tool. Battery life is stated to be six months and is prolonged by a sleep mode feature. The price for this stylus is minimal and represents a good value as does the Fire Max 11 tablet. Those with children would surely find uses to bring out their creativity and learning while using this stylus.

The Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet is Amazon's largest tablet, and a step up in the overall quality of the Fire tablet line. Because of it's 11 inch size, it is now at a point where other tools can be quite useful with it, in this case a stylus.
The stylus is of good quality, not cheap feeling at all. It has a little bit of weight to it, especially with the battery, which I find makes it easier to feel as though you have good control of it.
Using the stylus was not as great of an experience to me. I am accustomed to the Apple Pencil on my iPad, so this probably sets my expectations a little high. I didn't feel like this was a problem with the stylus itself, but rather the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet and software. My biggest problem was how often my palm would interfere with the app when trying to use it, including causing a "swipe up" motion that would trigger the bottom toolbar where I can all too easily exit the app. In full-screen drawing apps that accept input from my fingers, I would make marks with my palm while trying to place my hand where I wanted to draw.
I am not an artist and I generally just use a stylus to doodle or when using a coloring app. I also use it as a pointing device (going back to the old Palm device days), or for jotting a quick note or signing a digital document with my signature. However, I do work with creative apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Photo, and Affinity Designer), so I find a stylus helps me have better control over detailed editing, and I use a Wacom tablet for these situations on my computer, and am accustomed to doing this on a tablet.
The first time you use the stylus, the tablet will give you a tutorial about handwriting. However, it failed to cover a lot of techniques, and as a less experienced stylus user, I was left trying to figure out how to put a period at the end of a sentence and add a space where I needed one. The handwriting recognition was impressive however, and I also downloaded one of the suggested apps for artwork and was impressed with the accuracy and flexibility that the stylus had.
Be aware, however, that the stylus uses a replaceable (not rechargeable) AAAA battery, so not something you are likely to have sitting around the house. It is supposed to last months with normal use. It also comes with an extra tip and a tool to help you remove it. The stylus is designed to be stored magnetically to the side of the Fire Max 11 tablet. As both the tablet and the stylus have a magnet, this makes for a very strong connection, but even with that, it can be easily knocked off it gets caught on something. There is also a button on the side of stylus. This is introduced in the software tutorial as a means to "backspace" when using the handwriting feature - it deletes out the character to the left of the cursor. I suspect this button can be used for other applications as well, but as such, you need to hold it according to your need to access it in order to avoid pressing it unintentionally.
Overall, I rate the stylus as very good, but I think it's performance is a bit limited by the software experience on the Fire Max 11 device. This is something that can be improved on to make the stylus a much better experience.

If you haven't returned the pen yet, I can help you troubleshoot. First, make sure you're using it with the Fire Max 11 tablet, as it won’t work with any other devices. Hello, Pepito! I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the Stylus pen. I recommend checking your Fire HD 10 for updates. To do this, open the Settings menu on your Fire tablet and select Device Options > System Updates > Update. Your Fire tablet will restart during the software update. Please note that this stylus pen only works with the Fire HD 10 (13th Gen, 2023 release) and not older models. If you're still having issues, I recommend reaching out to Amazon Customer Support 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. I hope these steps are helpful. Have a great day!

This stylus pen for the Amazon Fire tablet is a fun an useful accessory. From doing fun little doodles to signing a document, I have enjoyed using the stylus pen with my Fire Max tablet.
The stylus uses a replaceable AAA battery, which can be good, unless you are out and can’t get to the store for a replacement. (You can always use the Fire Max tablet to order more at Amazon.)
So far several hours in and I haven’t needed to swap batteries out as of yet.
Once I put the battery in the device, my Fire Max tablet saw the stylus right away and walked me through a quick tutorial process on how to use it with the tablet. I found that to be so helpful!
The stylus uses a magnetic connection to the Fire Max tablet to help with storing it when not in use. (I personally find the magnet isn’t too strong and I routinely knock the stylus off the tablet.)
This stylus is quite nice and sleek looking on the side of the Fire Max tablet. It has enough weight to it when writing it feel natural and not cumbersome at all to use. I am not any type of artist, however I do find the stylus to be responsive enough for my small general usage.
I think this stylus is a good addition to your Fire Max tablet!
