I can't watch MLB on it, but I'm hoping that as time goes on the updates will improve it.

Posted .Hello HaroldT! I am glad you are enjoying your tablet and thank you for providing feedback on your experience. The battery life is supposed to get you upwards of 14 hours of usage depending on how it is used. Of course constant streaming and high brightness with constant use can minimize this time some. You can try to adjust a few things in the Settings to extend your battery life by lowering the brightness, turning off any unused features like Bluetooth or location services, and you can even go in the Multitask option by tapping the icon in the lower right of your screen and swiping up to close any unused apps that may be drawing on the power reserves unnecessarily. If all of this doesn't assist in improving your experience and you are still seeing nowhere near the battery life you should be seeing, you can always contact Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further or explore what other options are available to you.
