Did t have that with previous editions. I wouldn’t recommend it as I can’t see any advantage over previous generations.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes enhanced security features that may require additional authentication during initial setup, and the PIN you're encountering is likely related to parental controls or purchase restrictions that can be adjusted in Settings > Preferences > Parental Controls or Settings > My Account. Once configured, you shouldn't need to enter the PIN constantly during regular use. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max does offer advantages over previous generations including faster performance, Wi-Fi 6E support for improved streaming quality, and the Ambient Experience feature. If you're still experiencing constant PIN prompts after adjusting these settings, try restarting the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds. The item does not disappoint and is way better than its "ancestor".

If you have Amazon music plus, buy this. Chromecast doesn't cast HD Amazon music in full HD. Only Amazon devices cast Amazon stuff in full HD.

Heavy on Amazon trying to get you to buy their TV products and Prime subscription. But will not buy Amazon again because the remote was defective and used up 2 AA batteries every 4 days. Their support group wouldn't send a replacement. They wanted me to spend more money buying my own replacement remote with a promise to refund my money after I called or chatted with them again. No thanks!

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max does have more storage than the previous version! However, the 4K Max has a new feature called Ambient Experience as well as its support for Wi-Fi 6E.
Ambient Experience provides stunning artwork on your tv and you can choose from over 2,000 works of fine art, or use AI Art to design your own masterpiece or "draw you a picture." You can ask Alexa to generate an original image, then decide on a unique painting style. You’re only limited by your imagination.You can also stay informed with customizable Alexa widgets like Calendar, To-Do's, Weather, and many more options!

I’m a huge fan of the tv controls on the remote. Overall operation is fast with no lag. All apps work as they should. I ended up picking up a second one.
