Very useful for old tvs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put it on older tv and it would great. The hdmi connection does work well, so I plugged directly into the tv. That worked well but it takes two hdmi spots. Software runs smooth and I get a lot of apps

I have an older, none smart tv which works fine but can’t stream. The Fire TV device allows me to stream. BTW, you do not have to use Amazon Prime to get to what you need to stream as the directions lead you to believe. Plus I turn it off unless I’m streaming.

I can move around more quicker and very easy to navigate. I often use the streams at the bottom and makes it more easier to get to.

Grandsons vacation trip

If there is a downside it would be the pauses due to the internet connection. Probably not the sticks fault.
