cancel cable and get a fire stick with Alexa

You put in your wifi and then add only the channels you watch. there are actually better shows with a fire stick then cable. Most are free or you subscribe for hardly nothing. I use Alexa all the time

Nice with a few issues

On a couple of occasions, I had problems syncing the audio with the video and vice versa. In the way that one needs to reset the WiFi, I needed to do the same with the Firestick. That rectified the problem. I had to completely disconnect the Firestick from the HDMI in and unplug from the outlet. Reconnecting resolved my issue. I am getting more comfortable using the Alexa feature on the device.

Lite means light

I bought it for the "guide" button on the remote, and that is nice for you tube tv and Pluto on the same guide, but the tv volume control is not on the remote on lite models.. I would guess the next generation Fire stick will have both, but until then, I would get the model with the volume control.

Adequate fire stick if you need a smart tv.

Easy to use and it’s interface responds quickly. Has all the apps you need. It does lack a power button and volume buttons but honestly that isn’t an issue. For the price, it’s a no brainer.

The HDMI extension is a plus if your ports are near by. There is no lag in the GUI.Also it's great to manual set the device to sleep when not in use. Great buy!!!

Although it doesn’t work with sound and channel controls it still serves a great purpose as it doesn’t give you an overload of apps without downloading them.
