This Fire Stick serves our purposes perfectly. I can either cast from my phone or use one of the many apps to find things to watch when we are at the campsites.

You can pretty much get whatever app you want from it and keeps you from having to buy a new smart tv because certain apps aren't available for your particular tv.

Great if you doing have smart tv.

Use it for netflix hulu showtime and amazon. Much cheaper than buying a new tv. Also can download kodi but it will show it down. Great picture too.

I have saved so much money from not having to pay for cable. I just subscribe to high speed internet and a low monthly streaming subscription. Good buy.

No volume control

The only problem I have with it and I did not realize it till after I got it home was the fact that it has no volume up and down buttons. You never really knew you would miss it till you don’t have those. Pay the extra money and get the fire stick with the volume buttons

First gen sticks are really slow now though; don't use them really anymore sometimes bring them while traveling
