You'll need an available HDMI port on your tv or monitor. If you have that you'll be able to find tons of free viewing content from IMDB, YouTube and tons of others, and if you happen to be an amazon prime customer you can view all of their shows on your tv through this device. It will also allow you to view many or your subscription services like Netflix (if you pay the monthly fees) and tons of others. I only have this one for a month but have had them on my other tv's for a couple of years now.
