Solid product, could be better for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid item. It works and finishes are nice. Keys are a little stiff and touch pad small but its gets the job done. I would give 4 or 5 stars if it was backlit for 80 bucks.

Great keyboard and mousepad!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s very easy to set up. Just line it up and the magnetic strip connects with ease. This device allows me to use my Fire Tablet 11 like a laptop and I really like that feature. It’s very lightweight, durable and sturdy on the tablet. All in all I believe it’ll offer good protection to my Fire Tablet. The mouse pad is surprisingly responsive and smooth to use. I’m able to scroll and click where I want to navigate and then type the command. It’s very easy to use the pad and so far it has Great for taking notes and quickly typing instead of having to push each letter individually like the alternative. I’d recommend this if you’re looking to work on it and use typing or note programs. It’s a plus that the case offers protection, keyboard and mousepad. The buttons feel nice on the fingertips as you type, so that’s a plus! The back folds in half so you can prop it upright. I really like this because I can put it on the table and type away. I’d say it’s a pretty good angle. Pros: Keyboard Mousepad Able to fold up side to hoist screen Easy to use Offers good protection Lightweight Cons: I wish the case protected the sides of the tablet Pricey Overall: It’s a great case and does what it’s supposed to do. The mouse pad and keyboard are the highlight!

A Must-Have Addition for the Fire Max 11!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Amazon Fire Max 11 is their latest and most versatile device offering superb general purpose tablet computing, streaming capability and internet access services. The Keyboard Case is designed to supplement the tablet with additional functionality while providing important protection. Amazon was founded in Bellevue, Washington in 1994 as an online bookstore. Over the next five years It expanded to offer a wide variety of products and today accounts for about 40% of all online retail sales. In 2002 the company created Amazon Web Services to offer cloud computing and web storage services and today it is a leading force in that industry. Amazon Prime subscription service was launched in 2005, offering free shipping and later, music and video streaming. Amazon began creating its own electronic products starting with the Kindle e-reader in 2007. This led to the development of the Fire operating system (based upon Android) and Fire tablets. The first Fire tablet was a 7 inch model released in 2011. Successive generations incorporated various improvements. The fifth generation was a 10 inch HD model in 2015. The Fire Max 11 is the 13th and latest generation of these tablets. Here are the key features of this very useful accessory: • Amazon Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case (Model: SA6DIN, UPC: 840268963224) • Magnetic attachment of front and back covers • Keyboard: 78 keys including 15 special shortcut keys, 2 customizable shortcut keys • Integrated Trackpad: 3.3 inches x 1.6 inches • Adjustable trackpad pointer speed, supports trackpad gestures • Power supplied by pogo pins to tablet connection, instant installation upon attachment • Back cover has adjustable stand to prop up screen at multiple angles • Keyboard section removable to allow tablet to use only adjustable stand • Automatically wakes tablet when opened • Keyboard disabled when front of case is flipped onto the back • Construction: Slate grey fabric over ABS plastic • Dimensions: 10.25 inches Wide, 6.75 inches Height, 0.25 inch Thickness • Weight: 14.5 ounces The custom Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case provides elegant protection and superb functionality to the new Fire Max 11. It is finished in a very nice slate grey fabric which matches the aluminum body of the tablet and the optional Stylus Pen. The case overlaps the body of the tablet just enough to give edge protection without becoming overly bulky. It is also quite slim, adding only a quarter of an inch to overall thickness and 14.5 ounces to the total weight. This keeps the total weight of the protected Fire Max 11 at a svelte 1 pound, 15.5 ounces. I really like how the case snaps into place when you bring the keyboard section near your Fire Max 11. The magnets are powerful and the tabs ensure that the alignment is perfect. The back section also attaches quickly but you do have to align the hole over the rear camera a bit carefully. Once both sides are on the tablet you have the sense that your Fire Max 11 is very well protected. The case is quite solid but not bulky. The fabric covering, besides being very attractive, also gives a non-slip surface. Setting up the tablet in a laptop form just requires flipping open the lower portion of the back of the case. Since this is held on magnetically you need a little practice to avoid removing the entire back surface of the case. But I noticed that after a few uses the back became more flexible and it was easy to flip open the stand portion. It also helped to hold the closed case face down in my right hand and flip open the stand with my left hand, then open the case. The stand provides multiple angles for the tablet and the case holds the angle very well, with no slippage. If you are just watching videos, you can detach the keyboard and just use the back to support the screen at a comfortable angle. The keyboard is just excellent, very responsive, solid-feeling keys and no mushiness when typing. The size is about 90% that of a normal, full-size keyboard so you don’t have the feeling that you are typing on a mini-keyboard. It really works well. There is no separate numeric keypad, but for general purposes such as word document and email typing it is about as good as any laptop (although it is not backlit.) The trackpad is solid feeling and large enough to easily navigate to precise locations on the screen. It gives very definite clicks when you need that feature. It also supports useful gestures such as scrolling (two fingers), switching apps (three finger swipe), pinch to zoom (two fingers). I found the preprogrammed shortcut keys very useful and you can program two keys for custom shortcuts. With one tap you can open your email app, create a new file, begin a search, etc. The Fire Max 11 doubles as a full-function Alexa Show device but you really need the back of the keyboard case to make best use of this capability. With that stand you can set up the Fire Max 11 in a convenient location and have all of the Show functions readily available. Since the better Alexa Show devices cost about half the price of this tablet, you can see the value the Fire Max 11 represents. Anyone who buys the new Amazon Fire Max 11 would be well-advised to add this great keyboard case to that purchase. It is essential to obtain the full productivity possible from the new tablet. It is very reasonably priced and will greatly add to your enjoyment of the Fire Max 11.

Protection and a Keyboard!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked up the new Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case and so far, I really like it! The case comes in a gray variant that showcases a contemporary design that perfectly complements the sleek aesthetics of the tablet. The muted gray color offers a touch of sophistication and provides a neutral backdrop suitable for professional and casual settings alike. Constructed with a blend of sturdy materials, the keyboard case feels both premium and durable to the touch. The exterior provides a firm grip, ensuring the tablet doesn't slip out of hand, while the interior is lined with a soft material to prevent scratches and ensure the device's longevity. The keyboard's integration is seamless, providing tactile feedback akin to many high-end standalone keyboards. The key travel is optimal, allowing for a comfortable typing experience, and the layout is intuitive, accommodating both long writing sessions and quick emails. The case also offers multiple viewing angles, catering to various user preferences. Whether you're typing, video conferencing, or watching content, you can easily adjust the tablet to an angle that's most comfortable. Pairing the keyboard with the Fire Max 11 is a straightforward process. The connection remains stable throughout, ensuring that keystrokes are registered instantaneously without lag, enhancing the overall user experience. One of the case's strong suits is its impressive battery life. With moderate daily usage, it can last for days without requiring a recharge. And when it does need power, the charging process is relatively quick, minimizing downtime. Despite housing a keyboard, the case remains relatively slim and doesn't add excessive bulk to the Fire Max 11. This ensures the tablet remains portable, making it easy to slide into bags or carry by hand. The inclusion of a holder or slot for the stylus pen (if owned) would have been a beneficial addition, but its absence doesn't detract significantly from the case's overall value. Considering the dual functionality of protection and input that this keyboard case offers, it provides good value for its price. It's a worthy investment for those seeking to enhance their Fire Max 11's productivity capabilities. In conclusion, the Keyboard Case for the Amazon Fire Max 11 (2023 release) in gray is a fusion of style and functionality. It not only protects the device but also transforms the tablet into a productivity tool, bridging the gap between tablet and laptop. Whether you're a professional on the go or a student taking notes, this case is an essential accessory for your Fire Max 11.

Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case Completes the Package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Amazon Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case is purpose-built for the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet, and fits perfectly. This case is available for purchase separately, and is available in retail bundles with the tablet and Stylus. Pros: - Hard, protective case for the tablet and keyboard. - Back cover perfectly fits the camera “bump” on the tablet, allowing the case to lay flat. - Back cover is an adjustable stand that allows different viewing angles. - Keyboard never needs charging, as the Tablet supplies the power. - Keyboard attaches magnetically to the tablet and holds tight, even when you lift the tablet alone. - Keyboard detaches easily when needed. - Full keyboard with trackpad. - Amazon Fire Max 11 also supports external Bluetooth devices like a mouse or trackball if you prefer these to a trackpad. Cons: - The keyboard case provides little edge protection. This Amazon Fire Max 11 Keyboard Case turns the Tablet into a fully functional mini computer at a very reasonable price point—it completes the package. The case is sturdy and protective, while light enough to pop the tablet and case into a backpack, bag, or briefcase. Since it never needs charging, that’s one less cable to carry! Whether you use the tablet for social media, streaming, office or creative work, this keyboard can make you more productive. Consider adding a stylus for drawing, note taking, journaling, and design work, and a tempered glass screen protector if you use the stylus frequently.

Great for streaming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this case is a good match for the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet. It comes in 2 pieces. The back is magnetic and connects easily to the tablet. The bottom has a magnetic connection also to the bottom long end of the tablet. There is a piece on the back that you can open and close and acts as a stand. This works well and you can set it to the right viewing angle. And when not in use it fold sup nicely into the back of the case. The keyboard is nice, and responsive. The keys are a little small, but that is okay for me, I have not had any issues. This does not use Bluetooth so there is no need to charge the case. It works by being directly connected to the tablet. The track pad is a little skinny but is responsive. Again this is not a full size keyboard and I would not expect it to be. It works well for this tablet. I have noticed when the case is fully closed, and I go to open it, I have to fumble around to figure out which side opens and which is the top. I even have popped the back off accidentally thinking it was the front keyboard. So this is my main issue is that it is not as user friendly identifying the top from the bottom and where to actually open the case when you want to use the tablet. Also there is basically no edge protection from this case. So the edges of the device are open to being damaged. Overall this is a nice design and works well. I would like to see more 360 degree coverage and better identifcation of where to open it on future designs.

Decent keyboard accessory with some challenges
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Keybaord Case for the Amazon Fire Max 1 tablet is a decent accessory that really does make the Fire Max 11 like a little laptop. It offers a very nice typing experience, a surpriingly decent track pad, and, with a top row that contains a home button, a search button, screen and media contral, it gives the user a lot of control over functions on the device. In addition to the functionality, the keyboard case is quite nice looking, with a stylish yet robust grey fabric coating that both looks nice and should be able to take the kind of abuse that comes with longtern use and being carried around inside backpacks and handbags. There are also a few drawbacks: the case adds 2 pounds to the device (nearly doubling the weight), the kickstand is not ideal, being just one thin section of the back of the case, and the keyboard itself adds no sturdiness to the tablet, (there is no hinge here, just a rubbery piece of connecting area between the keyboard's magnetic clips and the start of the keypad). All-in-all, the Fire Max 11's keyboard case is a good acessory, and an absolute MUST for anyone who wants to use the Fire Max 11 for productivity apps, but I think it could have been built a little better.

Great case with one or two small caveats.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review goes along with my review of the stylus and Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet (all should be posted around the same time). My 11-year-old daughter really wanted a new tablet and the new Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet seemed to fit the bill. We got the tablet, this case and a stylus as a package deal which all work very well together, with a couple of small caveats. The case itself is a great case and nice for her as she loves the built in keyboard. As a parent I like that it's attractive, yet sturdy and easy for her to use. It's got a 'fabric' type texture to it, but is metal underneath and feels 'substantial' enough to protect it (at least to some degree) from drops and the constant abuse that occurs from being an 11-year-old's favorite tablet. The keyboard attaches to the back of the case through very powerful magnets that have locked it into the correct place every time so far. It's impressive how strong and accurately placed they are, while still being easy to detach from the back. My one issue with the case is that it should have come with a screen protector as well, particularly for being a case aimed at kids. If you're creating a 'package' with kids in mind, protection should be as important as 'ease of use' and the only reason I didn't give this five stars out of the gate. It could have used either a 'sleeve' or even loop for stylus storage as well, but that's not as important since it's magnetized and the stylus at least 'attaches' that way. Overall it's a great part of a package and highly recommended.

The keys are smooth and easy to type on and they feel.bigger even though the keyboard case is small. Nice Addition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great addition to the tablet. I like how the stand is built into the case and the different angles you can tilt the screen. Makes typing more of a breeze than typing on the tablet.
