    Love that its compact. Light weight. Dont like that i cant type in what chapter or book of my bible i want.

    Doesn’t seem as user friendly as older versions. And only onscreen instructions-which are not easy to navigate. But it is fast and easy to read!

    Purpose built for reading digital media. Great for teens and young adults but a bit small for older generation like myself.

    I bought the Amazon Kindle (16 GB) 2024. I had one of the original Kindle Fire HD 7 from 2013. It was wonderful. I needed to buy a new one because I could'nt replace the battery. The new kindle is nothing like my old one. Everything is so different and there was no instruction manual. 238 pages to go thru in the kindle. I have problems going to the next book. I am pushing all over the screen just to get back to home. Also all my books did not transfer correctly.

    Have difficulty trying to get listing of books in my library. I guess I am used to the Kindle app and like how it works on my phone better now Han the Kindle

      Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Kindle (16 GB). I understand you're having difficulty finding your library listing, and I can see how frustrating that must be when you're used to the convenience of the Kindle app on your phone.

      Here are some tips to help you navigate your library on your Kindle:

      From the home screen, tap "Library" at the bottom of the screen to see all your books
      You can filter your library by tapping "All" at the top and selecting options like "Downloaded," "Books," "Collections," etc.
      Tap the three dots (menu icon) in the top right corner for additional sorting options like "Recent," "Title," or "Author"
      If you're looking for a specific book, use the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top of the screen

      If you're still having trouble:

      Try restarting your Kindle by going to Settings > Device Options > Restart
      Make sure your Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi and synced with your Amazon account (Settings > Your Account > Sync)
      Ensure your device has the latest software update (Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates)

    Purchased as a Christmas gift. Kindle software froze and had Amazon send me a new one.

Just in case there is any confusion on what books are compatible with your Kindle and the different ways you can get access to them; I wanted to clarify a little. The book formats that are compatible with your Kindle are as follows: AZW, AZW3, MOBI, PDF, EPUB, DOC, and DOCX. You can access any of these through a variety of ways. For any books in this format that you own that are not part of Amazon's bookstore can be sideloaded to your device with a USB-C cord. You can also access a plethora of books through most local public libraries through smartphone apps like Libby. When borrowing books from these apps, there is an option to read it on your Kindle for the duration of your rental period. Lastly, Amazon does have a wide range of books for sale or included for free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription and you are able to use a Bluetooth headset and access audiobooks through Audible on this device as well.     It’s fine, bought for my kid and it has been durable enough so far. You HAVE to get your titles from Amazon, you can’t put any epubs or anything that you already have.

    I really love my new Kindle and its cover! Everything about them is perfect! However, the purchase process was quite complicated and strange. I had already decided to buy the Kindle and cover, so I went to a desk to ask a staff member for assistance. When I arrived, I found one staff member tying another staff member’s shoelaces, a lady sitting on a stool, as I later realized, was too lazy to stand up and assist me or anyone else. This person asked another assistant to bring the Kindle and the cover. When I pointed out that the cover had a 20% discount, she claimed that the discount wasn’t showing in the system. I insisted, but she kept repeating the same thing without checking the price tag. She was reluctant to stand up and verify the price where the covers were displayed. Finally, she said, “That’s the final price. Do you want it or not?” At that point, I chose not to argue further. She was not only lazy but incompetent, rude, and intolerant . However, as I always try to be respectful and kind to others, I decided to end the discussion and pay the price she stated. So injust!

    Worst Experience in retail

    This was the worst experience I have had in retail. I bought a kindle to pickup in store on Feb 14th. When I went to pick it up the staff said they do not have it and wont for another 7 days. This was a gift for valentines day. As i attempt to figure out what to do i looked for the kindle in a different color and the manager offered me a more expensive one that was not the color I requested and said I have to pay the difference. I asked for a discount to help offset the terrible experience. I said no and asked them to look again for the same kindle in a different color. Eventually they found on but was not willing to exchange it for the green one I had ordered and said I would have to pay for it again. -terrible customer service -pickup dates were wrong -no in stock availability -managers did not care at all. If it wasn't for the urgency of what I needed, I would've walked out and never stepping back in a wrongful business.

    Thank goodness I bought a protection plan. I had for about two weeks and it froze up. Brought it in and the geek squad threw it in the waste basket.

    I bought this item and was excited to use then I discovered a dead pixel upon turning my kindle on. Been trying to return it ever since.
