Got it as a gift for my dad, so far so good. Didn't not realise the special offers are ads, spend more money to buy the one with out them. Also hate the fact they removed the wwan connection, you now need wifi to connect to the store.

I use it to study, I download my books as a pdf and my kindle organizes the chapters for me, I love it! Also, as a foreigner, the dictionary and the synonymous words written above complex words help me a lot.

I love to read but don't have the space to keep a collection of books. For me, this Kindle is the best of both worlds. I can enjoy reading a good book without having to find shelf space to store it later.

I bought this for my mom during the holidays. She always said that she wanted one and so I got her one. She gets super excited everytime she downloads a new book. She absolutely loves it.

If you want to read anytime where there's a light source this is thereafter for you. If you do a lot of night reading the paper white is cheaper considering the add kns you will have to buy for the base model.

I had read reviews. It is just like what reviews said. It is really good. I still have to try some features. Probably I should have gone for Kindle Light. Maybe next time. But for now I am totally satisfied.

Got a bunch of e-books from Humble Bundle book bundles. Decided to get this to read them, instead of a tablet, because of the e-paper display. Great battery life. Easy to use. I love it

I absolutely LOVE my kindle. I go nowhere without it. It has kept me entertained for hours. Don't have to keep up with books that get torn or lost. I would and DO RECOMMEND a kindle for EVERYONE

This is a great tool if you are just looking to read and no other tablet functions. The homepage isn’t the most intuitive but it gets the job done and the reader itself is great.

I am very happy with my e-reader. It is so practical for reading along with my daughter. she has one as well, and we use them to read every night as required by her 4th grade class curriculum.

It's really good to use under a light. Touch panel works fine. Fonts looks good. Battery drains fast when it's in standby mode. Really light and small so good to carry in a bag.

I had to upgrade my Kindle because my original Kindle died; I really like it but I guess my only issue is that none of my games transferred over to my new Kindle.

This is the most basic kindle that works really really well during the day and even in sunlight. Its a perfect gift for anyone who is interested in moving to e-reading.

This is a great product, but I didn't check the specs, and it doesn't have a light, so it didn't work for what I wanted ot, but I give it 5 stars still.

The kindle e-readers are the best on the market. While this one doesn't include the built in light it is great for the beach and is still the lightest and smallest version.

I was looking for a kindle whitepaper. I saw online for $80. What a deal. I ordered it on line and picked it up in the store. I got it home and couldn't adjust the brightness. After a lengthy time with online customer service I called customer service. After 20 minuets with speaking to a female Elmer Fud that doesn't speak english well I figured I would just return it. Although it looks Identical to the $120 model, you can not adjust the brightness. That would have been good information before I bought it.

It was easy to se up but the recipient wished it has an actual manual that you didn't have to download to print a copy. She has yet to use it outside due to weather at this time.

Bought it for my girl. Comfort for reading, her eyes don't hurt anymore. Minus: couldn't just download books,only amazon and library. She needs foreign books

I was unable to find a new Kindle in-store and was excited to find Best Buy had them online and I could purchase it and have it delivered simply and easily.
