Millions of books available at finger touch, nice display, long lasting battery, quick charges

This is my 3rd Kindle purchase. It has never disappointed me in terms of quality value, and the large volume of ebooks available at Amazon and other places. I love the touchscreen function and the fact that there is no bluelight to negatively affect my sleep. Price was great too! Shipping was fast. Best Buy continues to be a favorite retailer of mine.

This is what I needed not fancy just simply used for reading books. Easy to use and battery lasts for quite a while.

I love this Kindle. I used to have an older generation that suddenly stopped holding a charge just before I left on a trip to Europe, so I ran out and picked this one up. I actually like that it doesn't have a backlight or the white paper effect, the light kills battery life and the white background can get hard on the eyes. This didn't require a single charge the entire 2 week trip even though I read every day.

The Kindle is amazing. This is my second one. The price was misleading however as I had to pay something like another extra 30 bucks to get rid of the ads. Just know that

I bought my Kindle because I heard it was good for reading in direct sunlight. I’ve got a bay window I like to read at and other tablets I’ve read on produce a lot of glare. This has zero glare and I can’t wait to take it camping this Spring/Summer/Fall. A side note, this is way lighter than any book (as you may have guessed). I like to read on my back and having this has drastically increased the amount of time I can read for.

This Kindle is nice and my wife who is an avid reader likes the screen quality but truthfully does not like being "pigeon-holed" by Amazon for every book or story. Having to go through them for nearly everything greatly declines from the ease of use of the various functions. The need to find or put her existing library into Amazon in order to use it on the Kindle is ridiculous and annoying. Once again a another good product being sadly limited due to a monopoly.

Easy to navigate. Daughter loves it. It's lightweigh and its just what she needed for this avid reader.

Very happy with this "basic" ereader. Battery is great, visibility is great (even though it's not a "paperwhite"), and form factor is comfortable. Special offers (ads) are totally non-invasive and I hardly notice anything; especially since I use the reader with wifi turned off. Sometimes I wish the power button was on the top of the device rather than bottom where I feel I'm more likely to accidentally press it, but hardly a true problem.

This is an awesome product. I also own a paperwhite, if you always read in good lighting I would recommend you save some money and buy this instead of the paperwhite.

Kindle is the perfect E-reader. Easy to use and size is perfect to bring 'book' on the go.

I only had trouble with the fact that you have to buy every book for 8 dollars! Also, they say , Thank you for your purchase at Audible, and it will try to steal your cc information! I just said, Nope, take me off if I truly Am on audible! The website wasn't even working! But I love how little it is and you don't have to fold the pages down and over to see what is on the page- like a pocket book!

Much easier to read in this as it is light and battery lasts along time.

The backlight is the best feature. Lightweight and easy to travel with.

I was unsure about getting a kindle as i am so used to reading books the traditional way. I love the kindle. The convenience of being ablt to have it with you and pick from any number of books you downloaded is great. Downloading is easy, the charge lasts a while and its a clear image even outside.

Fits nicely in your hand and its touchable. increase the size of the fonts

Perfect for our young daughter, its a perfect size and she can use it very easily.
