Let me be clear, it's not nearly the graphics quality of my kindle fire, but it is only a reader. For this, it's great. The battery does last at least 10-14 days before I feel the need to charge it again. I haven't let it run down completely, so it may last longer. It's small and lightweight, fits easily in my purse and is easy to hold and adjust the lighting and word size.

Bought a few years ago and forgot all about it. Recently rediscovered and Ive loaded a nice collection. Very easy on my eyes and being able to bring 15 books with me is amazing.

This was a replacement for an old Gen 3 kindle that finally died. This was the cheapest one I could find and it was a good buy. Several changes to get used to but I like the lite color of the screen that works in dark areas. There are more font choices and sizes for the font. The only thing that is kind of a pain is the off button. You have to hold down the power button and then confirm that you want to turn it off by touching the screen. I would recommend this for someone who is only interested in reading books and not trying to surf the web. It take a little getting used as do most things that are a replacement after 15 years.

Surprise Christmas gift for my bookworm sister. She had the older (slower) model and barely used it. Now, she reads every day and loves the portability, back light and ease of use. Now all I need to buy for her is a case! Highly recommend!

Love this e-reader! It's the perfect size and design for me. Very light weight and the built in light makes it great for late night reading with no disturbance to my husband since the light is bright enough to read, but not blinding

Bought as a Christmas gift fir my daughter. She loves it. She reads a lot with kindle app but she also enjoys playing games and watching stresming chsnnels

My first kindle to have lighting. Inexpensive snd wonderful for reading in Any light! Ads when shut down are easy to overlook when you are saving $$; this kindle is great sized, sensitive (but not overly so) and a nice upgrade from my original version 1. Treat yourself-your eyes will thank you.

I’m a big reader. I’ve had a kindle of some sort for years and have upgraded to kindle fires the past few years. I miss being able to read outside, especially when camping. The reason I got this version is to read outside. So far so good. It’s just a basic reader, but reminds me of the older versions of the kindle.

This version of kindle reader is my favorite. The size and weight allows me to take it with me everywhere and it feels like reading a paper book. I added a pop socket for ease of holding it and it works like a charm. The resolution when looking at the library is not the best, but hardly needed. The actual book font resolution is perfect.

I bought this Kindle specifically to read in the bright sunshine and it does not disappoint. Easy to pack as it's small and lightweight and the screen is clear with no glare. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend!
