So very light and small I like it alot was waiting for one to go on sale and finally did, only thing is it does scratch easier and there's no screen protectors for it. If you're contemplating getting a 6 inch or 8. 6 is fine you're just reading and you can adjust the size so it doesn't matter a whole lot how big the device is.

This is so easy to read and its small and easy to hold!

When you turn the page it’s rather touchy. And I have noticed if I don’t put the screen to sleep before I set it down some how the font will change and pages will jump. I don’t like that so much. It’s also really slow. I’m used to something fast but the interface on this is really slow when booting up and using the navigation functions on it. For the price you would expect it to be a little more snappy but it is alright. Some books are a little pricey too but that’s a separate issue.

I currently have the old Kindle 3g, and my partner was dying for a basic Kindle just like it. He doesn't need any of the bells and whistles, and this was perfect. It is simple, intuitive, and does the job-- a better version of my old 3g. The back lit screen is the perfect update. It's an eReader, perfectly simple and perfect for someone who just wants to read.

LOVE my kindle. Got the ad supported version but truth be told, there really isn’t a difference because I went to my Amazon account and disabled the ads for $20. Anywho, its super light weight and overall great. So far no complaints

So far great....broke down after years of debating getting one of these. Im probably one of a few who still like to hold an actual book or even waits for books to get to library! Easy to use. Great price. Fast shipping.
