This is my second Kindle since the first one broke but as I had a guarantee, everything was fine. It was even cheaper and for 20 more dlls I was able to buy another to give it away. I am very satisfied.

I bought this kindle because I wanted to be able to read books without distractions. I absolutely love my kindle! It’s so easy to use and so portable. Very very long battery life and I don’t even have to use my phone battery. I like how I can also download books to read offline. Additionally, I really really like the backlight!!! I would definitely recommend!!!!

I love this Kindle! Super lightweight and portable, battery life is about a 8.5/10 because when you use even one “bar” of light the battery starts draining quick. Reading a couple hours a day with a full charge lasts me about 5 days before needing a recharge which is pretty good. The screen is matte so oily hands will leave smudges and on the bezels as well. I put a case on mine to protect from damage as I feel like the screen can get scratched/damaged easily in my purse. Overall this changed my life going from physical books to digital, definitely worth the money!

the kindle is perfect for reading any of your favorite books and i can even buy and read ebook versions of my textbooks for school! it’s so great and i love it so much. the battery life is so great and a full charge lasts weeks and you can customize the way you read and it’s so helpful!

I love my Kindle. However, when I ordered it said nothing about being ad-supported. They should've made it clear in the product's description.

I was a little leery of getting a basic Kindle, as so far I have only had Kindle Fires, but I have been pleasantly surprised. My Fires tend to bog down after a while (of course they are pretty old now) so I wanted something basic to use to read. So far I have been very pleased.

I’m a big reader. I’ve had a kindle of some sort for years and have upgraded to kindle fires the past few years. I miss being able to read outside, especially when camping. The reason I got this version is to read outside. So far so good. It’s just a basic reader, but reminds me of the older versions of the kindle.

Works good for reading books. The screen occasionally has a few pictures that don't switch when changing the page though this may be due to the battery saving features I have turned on Overall I'm very happy with it and would buy it again.

I love to read; that is one of my favorite hobbies. My son has told me for a few years: "Dad, you need a kindle". I always said no, I like the feel of having a book in my lap. Well, I got a kindle, just to try it out and found out my son was right! I love this device, it is so light and it is better than a book. I am able to download books from the internet. And the device keeps a charge for a month!

I am really enjoying my reading on my kindle.It is as close as you can get to reading a paper book. So far I have not experienced eye strain. It doesn't have the shadow look on the letters like on a laptop. It's small enough to fit easily on my hand bag but big enough that it is easy read. I am an avid reader(when I have time)so ease to carry it with is a big plus.

This Kindle is the perfect soze for travel. I use on airplanes, while camping, car rides and more. I get books from Amazon (some for free) and borrowed digitally from my local library. Can't really complain about anything.

Perfect little reader ads don’t really bother me and if they mess with battery life I can’t tell

Honestly never bought a kindle because I thought I’d hate it but it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made! I now use it to buy series of books that way I don’t buy the first one at full price and hate it. Amazing! And conveniently tiny!

Loving my kindle. It is a great entry-level, and it is good if you are starting out with an Ereader. I would not suggest this is you already have a paperwhite or a higher quality e-reader. You will likely see some differences in quality if you are a avid e-reader user

Seems to be fine, although I haven't yet started using it for reading, since I am in the middle of a long paperback book at present. It was difficult to transfer the library from my very old Kindle and I had to spend a long time on the phone with a Kindle rep to get it done.

I could never read the screen on my Android tablets in daylight. This reader works perfectly for daylight reading even in direct sunlight. Touch screen is a welcome addition that our old Kindle's didn't have

great for reading after dark. I do not feel the typical eye strain from reading from a tablet.

I have been using Kindle for over 2 years now. This puts no strain on my eyes and allows me to add as many books as I like. It is light and easily fits into your bag to carry around.

I didn't want anything extra; just something to carry around and read without much headache. This device is perfect for me! It saves where you are even if it dies. The cover you can get triggers it locking and unlocking as well.
