It does not have the yellow shadow at the bottom that others have complained about. The colors remind me of old newspaper comics. The screen is easy on the eyes and it is so fast! I bought the kids version even though I’m an adult because I liked the case and it comes with the 2 yr warranty. Best Buy was fast and friendly. I bought it online and just picked it up in store. In and out in 5 minutes.

There are a few workarounds to load your own books. Which i'm happy to do.. The only grape I have about this is why it didn't come with the same screen for the scribe.
