Literally one of the best purchases I have made for myself. For someone who recently made reading a personal habit, I have been flying through books on this thing! I love the colors of the books and the back light options are great on my eye. The value is honestly in the kindle subscription as well as linking your library card, it certainly off set the costs I was spending at my local bookstores on hard copies!

I love this reader! I wanted something light with color so I could see maps and illustrations better and this is just perfect!

I was debating on getting it due to the issues ive read it has but mine came with 0 issues i love the color is fast.I dnt see the yellow line on bottom. The battery last long. i love mine

I love this device! I was on the fence about purchasing it since it cost more than the Paperwhite Signature, but I haven't regretted it once. I researched other options, such as Kobo Libra, but this one won out because of the e-ink technology. It's small enough to go everywhere, and I love seeing the colors of the book covers. Plus, it's durable, and I keep dropping it off my bed after falling asleep, yet it remains in pristine condition. It hasn't left my hand since I got it a month ago, and I don't plan to let this one go.

I have had a Kindle Paper-white for a couple of years, but BestBuy was having a sale so I decided to upgrade to the colorsoft and give it a chance. I know there were concerns about yellow on the bottom. I have not seen that at all. It seeks like kindle fixed it. I LOVE this kindle! I love the color screen savers and color book covers. Plus it works well with magazines. Its also super fast. My books download quickly and the page turning is smooth. I also like the wireless charging and magsafe capability. I purchased a magsafe case that allows me to use a magnetic pop socket. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Great upgrade to the older Kindle models. The color soft is amazing while reading on the beach.

Love it! Returned my paperwhite for the colorsoft and have no regrets. Much faster and the fact that the covers are in color makes it worth it.

I really love mine! I have no complaints about it. People have been talking about “yellow band” issue on bottom of screen but I dont really see it at all. If there is one.. its not noticeable to me but Im definitely keeping mine. I love highlighting in color and just seeing the book covers in color… i love it!

Absolutely love mine, have never had any issues. Never have had that yellow line other peoples used to have when this device came out.

I recently purchased this to upgrade from an older version of the regular Kindle. I love it! The size is a bit of an adjustment, but I wanted more screen. I really don’t notice the yellowing on the bottom of the screen that so many are complaining about. Its only visible when the brightness is turned up - which for me isn’t much of an issue because when the brightness is up very high, it tends to bother my eyes. The colors are reminiscent of comics on newsprint. I love the nostalgia of it.

The color is a nice addition and it makes the reading experience more enjoyable, with the covers in color and pops of color where present in book content. Note that it’s still e-ink so the color is muted and won’t be as bright and vivid as a tablet or phone. Slightly darker screen and less contrast vs. black and white Kindle due to the design of the color screen. Feels more responsive, less delay when tapping on things or turning pages vs the previous generation Paperwhite.

I love it, the color on the screen is not great but not what I am looking for as I read alot of novels. Can turn into a dark screen so it’s easier on the eyes. The weight is exceptional as I have hand pain holding anything. It’s perfect in size, more like holding a light weight book.

First ever kindle. Works great. Long lasting battery. Great customization of brightness and warmth of light. Minor issues with the touch response every so often to knocked down a star.

Such an amazing device! I have been waiting for a color Kindle for years. The yellowing on thr bottom of the screen is negligible and I would never have noticed it had other reviewers not mentioned it. I also cant see it at all with the warm light setting on. It is so nice to see my book covers in color. The processor is also much faster than my 11th gen Paperwhite. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Love reading books, easy to link library borrowed books, last a long time, small enough and it does not weight on you.

Love the color feature for when I'm reading an art book! Great battery life as expected!
