Coming from the 2nd generation Kindle, having a touch screen took some getting used to, but overall, I love my Kindle. If you are an avid reader, it's a great purchase for a good price. Pros: Backlight Lightweight Cons: Hard to hold without turning the page (a case gives you something to hold on to) Seems fragile

Coming from traditional phone and tablet displays, this causes far less eye strain, which is great. Text is crisp with clean lines. Battery life has been wonderful. Marked off a star because menu navigation is s bit counterintuitive, and how it flashes an inverse image when turning pages is distracting

This is my first eReader purchase and I’m so happy I did it! I’ve saved money using Kindle Unlimited. The size is perfect for me and you can change the font size, so it makes no difference. My hands get a break from trying to keep a book open and it’s very user friendly. I think it’ll take time for me to get used to not holding a book (was always my preference), but I’m adjusting well and that preference is changing the more I use the Kindle. It’ll be extremely helpful when traveling or going places because it’s so compact. Definitely recommend! (And the price is good too).

I got this kindle a month ago and i absolutely love it. so light, so compact and i bring it to school everyday. it’s super convinenient for reading and i have only charged it one time and it’s still on.

I like that its really convenient and really easy on my eyes when i read than on my tablet because it doesnt have the glare and its very light. But that now they have the colored kindle, i feel like that i should have waited to get that instead. And i wish it has whispersync. For now, im enjoying all my ebooks.

Love my kindle the best book purchase I have made as it fits in most all my purses and easy of use and quality are excellent.

Not much to say. Screen is great for night time reading without blinding yourself. Battery life is great anf its super easy to use. Definitely recommend if you travel and enjoy reading

I was kind of on the fence between getting this and the paperwhite but im so happy I decided to get this model. The battery last forever and the screen resolution is bright enough to comfortably read without any adjustments. I love that they’ve upgraded this model to have usb charging so i dont have to fumble with multiple charging cords. The number one reason i really like this kindle over the others is the size. I take it everywhere and its slim and convenient to store.

I bought this Kindle just a little over a week ago, but I have already read two novels on it. The device reads great just like a book should. The pages flip nicely with just a touch or swipe of your finger on the screen. There are also nice options to change font sizes. The best feature is being able to read in the dark in my opinion.

My wife uses it for reading all over the place, its very small and light. The screen is really cool and battery lasts forever

Kindle is the best reader. Totally enjoyable, great size, easy to handle. This is my third Kindle and I have to say, that I've had other readers, but none of them is as easy and excellent as Amazon Kindle.

Good starter kindle. It’s certainly nice to read a book without draining my phone battery. The battery on this tablet is outstanding. I’ve had this tablet about a month now and have been reading about 3-5 days a week and the battery was at 45% percent yesterday. So in a month I haven’t charged it once. The only negative thing I’ll say is the slow response time to your finger inputs. There was a bit of a learning curve on my part to find the menu which contained the bookmark icon. But again its my first kindle so I won’t fault it for that. This model version comes with an ad for a book every time you open the book. At first it was a little annoying, but for a whooping $20 to remove the ad, you learn to get used to it. Very lightweight and and if you’re like me it fits in your pocket. I picked my unit up while it was on sale for $79. I’d recommend getting a cover for the screen as well.

I love my new Kindle. It is light weight, nice I can read in the dark with it’s back light and enjoy that I have font size options.
