Very good ebook I love it I use its every day to reading

I like the Oasis i had the paperwhite that 3G went away in December the only issue was it was stated you could connect without wifi and it does not so i had to get my mother wifi so she could use her New Kindle i bought one for myself and one for my mother.

Love the easy on the eyes screen with all the options of viewing the text. Very Easy to use. And very lightweight. The price was right for the product. Easy and quick to get in and out of the store to pick up my online order. Great customer service. Would highly recommend Best buy and the Kindle product to friends and family.

My old kindle fire needed a new SIM card. Instead of doing that, I decided to purchase something with more memory. This kindle has features the old one didn’t have, such as changing the font size and the light. The one thing it does not have is the library in color so I’m still getting used to that. But all and all I love it! And I’ve already read 3 books on it.

I had the earlier Kindle Oasis and I loved it but needed an Upgrade. This newer one (2019) is SO Much improved from my other one! It holds thousands of books, has a front light and light option for nighttime which is amber and won’t affect my sleeping patterns like before. And the front light gets SO Much brighter than my old light did. I can read so much more easily than with my old model. Also this one is water-resistant too! You can read in the tub or even in a pool floaty! It’s a great size like my old one but is so lightweight and comfortable for me to hold. I can even read in the bright sun with no glare! Is this expensive? My answer is that it’s worth every penny for me! I love it!

I have been reading on iPads for a long time and I love the True Tone and warm light settings that are on my iPad Pro now for reading, so when I saw the new oasis was going to have this feature, I knew I wanted it but it was hard for me to spend the money for this when I had my $1000.00 iPad. I actually preordered and canceled the new oasis several times (I was afraid Best Buy was going to ban me...lol) before finally settling on purchasing it. Well, let me tell you, I am so glad I did! This new oasis screen is awesome and I feel like I am reading a physical book. There is a huge difference between the paperwhite, which I purchased at amazon on prime day but returned it, and this new oasis in terms of lighting. The warm light setting really is much easier on the eyes for evening/nighttime reading. I am even leaving it on a little through the day. I love ALL the features the oasis offers. It truly does offer a much better reading experience. I am a very avid reader, so I feel like, for me, the cost of this device was well worth it! I have small hands and it is a little more awkward for me to hold, but I am making it work! The light shines evenly across the screen, there is no shadowing, and battery life seems to be good so far. For me, having both the iPad Pro and oasis is beneficial. Any books that has links or color pages is better on the iPad. For example, I love reading my study Bible on my iPad because of the links and the illustrations, so for me, having both devices is well worth the money spent. I know a lot of people are unhappy because it wasn’t a huge upgrade from the oasis 2, but I think it is a major upgrade because the screen is so amazing with the new lighting. I am very happy with my purchase!

I don’t know a lot about these things. But my wife loves to read and it is hard to find large print books that make it easy for her to do what she loves. This tablet lets you change the size of the font so easy and it makes reading for her easy. The fact it is water resistant is nice because she can relax in the tub and not worry about dropping it while she is in there. Good buy all together. 

I chose the Oasis for the form because I never liked holding a tablet or reader with a narrower bezel. My only beef with the design is that it is a little slippery (without using a sleeve or cover), and because the power button on the top is directly opposite the power jack on the bottom sometimes I inadvertently turn it off or on when plugging in the power cord. You'll know what I mean if you buy this. The e-ink display is fantastic, but the auto-brightness shows a distinct effect on the display in lower light that appears as a slow flicker. It eventually settles down, or maybe my eyes adjust to it - don't know. I use the warm setting exclusively because it looks closest to paperback pages, and couples with the anti glare screen it's easiest on my eyes. The battery lasts quite a while. The first 5-10% seems to go quickly but it takes forever to get down to even 75% - like a week at least. There is very little setup to do when you get it and adding books from an external source (like a computer) is simple. Just attach it using the USB cable and the Kindle is seen as a storage drive where you can drag and drop your files into the appropriate folder. Not all popular formats are compatible. I'll get another if I lose this one!

Really good, better than I expected in many ways. The 7’’ screen is way bigger than the 1st gen 6’’, a greater change than it may sound. Still pretty light-weight, the metal feels good, just don’t forget to get a case if you live in areas that can get cold. Warmness control is not seemingly fancy but yep, it’s amazing. Just think about your iPhone’s True Tone display (should you ever used one), then you understand how this feature counts. The only things I’m not satisfied with are the battery life and the connectivity. Somehow, I feel it can’t last as long as my 1st Gen Oasis, even if the old buddy is now over 24 months. Not saying is bad, but it’s still a retreat. Unless you read all day long, however, I guess up to 2 charges a week is good for 95% of us. And, well, come on Amazon!!! It’s 9102 already (2019 actually :) ), a microusb port is just old-fashioned. You can do that don’t ya? I would pay like $15 more for that. Hopefully you can do that on next gen, and I really think you should. Overall, really good in every aspect, as long as you get some spare money and are willing to invest in reading, this is a must-have. ( Mine is 32G Graphite WiFi. $279 is not cheap, but is worth only if you need. Like the brand-new AirPods Pro, it’s built primarily for the Pro users rather than being a budget choice. Have a think about your need before the decision.)

I enjoy reading at night, and the reason to why I opted for a Kindle Paperwhite. I ended up purchasing the first generation Kindle Oasis, but the charging cover was annoying even though the overall design was ergonomically better for me. I then switched over to the 9th generation Oasis and was pleased with the redesign, the increased screen size and the new magnetic cover that does not charge. Now the 10th generation became available, same specs as the 9th BUT with Warm Light feature. I new this was a deal breaker because my eyes seemed to become more sore due to strain, but the Warm Light did improve my ability to read at night. The charge holds well, getting weeks off a single charge. I am somewhat disappointed that the 10th generation Oasis will not work with the 9th generation magnetic cover. That was annoying, because I found myself taking it out of the cover to read. I only use the cover to protect my screen when not using it. Overall, the 10th generation Kindle Oasis is a great device. The Warm Light feature is the single most reason why I would choose this device over any other Kindle out there.

I love this eReader. The quality is extremely premium and feels exceptionally comfortable when held in the hand. It feels so nice that I ended up getting a sleeve to protect it in instead of a cover that attaches to it. I find the format just right and have been able to read PDF manuals I own as well as comics. To this point, I'm glad I went with the 32 gig version to store my additional content. To top off the cake, it is so light and portable, it never leaves my side.

Absolutely love my Kindle! It is just the right size and easy on the eyes. You can read it in sunlight with no glare.

My daughter is really enjoying her new Oasis E Reader. The only issue she has had is it occasionally locks up and she had to restart the device. If it continues we may have to replace it. But she loves the crispness of the screen and the ease of use.

I have been using my iphonw and a first generation kindle paperwhite for years, but wanted to ipgrade to a better screen. I love that the Kindle Oasis has buttons so thag I don’t have to swipe to change the pages. The navigation is great. It is so much easier to continuously read without pausing because I need to move to readjust to change the page.

Bought this item for a family member. She is really enjoying it - the size is perfect, easy to use.

I was havibg trouble with eye fatigue and reading and really reaisted switching to a e reader. I tried the Kindle app on my ipad a few times and just did not care for it. This Oasis is a game changer. The warmth and brightness control along with tye font choices are wonderful. I have read three books just this week. It is light weight and easy on my wrists. I wish I had made the switch earlier.

This is my third Kindle device and it meets all expectations. I purchased this version as I needed a replacement for an older model and I liked the fact that it is waterproof where other models were not. It is larger than the paper white and at first it seemed it would be uncomfortable to use while lying down but I quickly got the hang of it. No complaints at all!

Is perfect! Lightweight, great for travels just amazing so far!
