I received this a little over a month ago and I've only had to charge it 3x. The buttons are easy to use and it is very lightweight so reading in bed or in the waiting room doesn't tire your arm out. I also love how you can customize everything from font to how bright and warm you want your screen. This is something I definitely recommend. Well worth the money.

32gb will hold more ebooks than you can read in your life. I love the backlight and the weight of the device. It’s like holding a thin piece of paper. It’s the perfect Kindle for older folks as well, as it has a very large screen and the font can be adjusted as big as you need it!

Probably the greatest thing I’ve ever purchased in my entire life. I read over 52 books a year as my usual New Year’s resolution. Having the page turn buttons is amazing because while you hold the Kindle, you can leave your hand in one position the whole time. I got a remote page Turner from Amazon and a tablet holder for hands-free reading. I can fit more words on the page With the oasis larger screen. You can tell the difference between the oasis and the paper white because the lighting on the oasis is much more even and uniform. It is the more expensive model, but I’m afraid Amazon will discontinue this soon, so I had to scoop one up. I love having a premium reading experience. It makes me love reading so much more.

The Oasis arrived on time and was packaged well with very little chance of damage. I proceeded to set up the Kindle and found it to be a breeze. As for the function, it was as described by the seller. So far, I love it. The text is clearer than my other Kindles. It is light to hold but I will say that it's very slick to grip. I also bought a cover for it as I was aware from other reviews that stated the Oasis was a little slick to hold. The cover added little to the weight. So, I would buy it again. At this point, I would suggest you do the same if you are looking for a good Kindle. If anything changes, I will follow up with an update.

The Oasis is the top of the line in the Kindle line. It boasts such features adjusting font size, tabs feature to scroll or using buttons, switching the oasis to right to left hand friendly, adjusting background to soft yellow (newspaper version) so as to eliminate total eye strain, and many other more reader friendly devises to apply other Kindle Oasis activiities. The Oasis, dollar for dollar is the best value around for us regular readers. I highly recommend purchasing a cover in order to protect your investment.

I absolutely LOVE my kindle! The page turn buttons are the reason I bought this one and it’s been amazing. The battery life is awesome.

Lightweight, adjustable lighting with optional warm light for reading in the dark. Easy to hold in either hand. Very thin and transportable. Haven't tried in water area yet. Holds many ebooks and has audible. Excellent ereader.

Kindle oasis works very well in bright outdoor sunlight, seems safe in pool and ocean. Unit is very easy to upload and read books. It stores an incredible amount of books.

So far I like it, only thing I didn’t like was the flickering of the screen. But the size and weight are great and now I have my whole library with me everywhere I go

As someone who swore she’d only read hardcovers I have to saw this could possibly be the best purchase I ever made if only for the pure convenience and versatility this device and it’s app offers. It’s comfortable to hold and so easy on the eyes and I can read while my husband sleeps and there’s no light to keep him awake like my iPad would’ve. I also love the buttons! If you’re thinking about it do it! It’s worth it!

No it’s not a Paperwhite but it is better in all ways except compact size. The screen is better, love the warm screen color and brightness, very easy on the eyes especially at night. Some say the battery isn’t as good but it is if you watch brightness. The buttons works well especially as a lefty it easily flips to the side I’m most comfortable with. With an Oasis case it can easy sit in landscape or portrait for hands free reading, It downloads much quicker than the paperwhite so when I want to put a audible book or a whisper sync with a pair of headphones is nice.

I was going to buy my friend a TV for Christmas but she said "no thanks" and that she would prefer an e-reader. So I looked at features and reviews and decided on this one. Turns out I made a good choice! My friend loves this thing. It is easy on her eyes and has enough memory for her to download enough books to keep her entertained when she travels (post covid). It is light and easy to hold too, which was a major consideration for her. She gives this 2 thumbs up!

My son loved his Birthday gift! It is perfect for someone in the Military who cant pack around a lot of books & such. He was thrilled! Perfect size & sleek!

The bezel is so convenient and the clickers to change the pages especially for reading while laying down. I like the screen size and the matted page look. I wish they had other colors but not that serious.

Easy to use, light to the tough, feels good on the eyes with the warm light

Very good. Very easy to use. The battery last a long time. Less distraction as compared to Pads. Reads better in the sun than regular pads which have reflections. It is particularly convenient as you don’t need to carry heavy books. I still buy paper books for something more serious. Also many libraries have eBook, so less worrying about going to public libraries for a paper book. Also bought a cover from Amazon.

Easy on the eyes, simple to use. Cover is also easy to apply and protects it....well designed .....
