I recently had cataract eye surgery and lenses implanted. The ability to adjust the brightness and lighting type has been such a blessing for me! I am an avid....voracious reader and to be able to enlarge the type and make adjustments has been a lifesaver during my recovery!

It's very easy to hold and read! Its super easy to change pages irrespective of if you are left or right handed. The lighting is great as well and automatically adjusts with the lighting in your room. Highly recommend!

The Kindle is light weight and slim. It is easy to carry with you where ever you go. It has the auto dimmer which is perfect and I love the feature that flips the book no matter which way you choose to hold it. This kindle is definitely A MUST HAVE!

This is the e-reader I didn't think I needed. Sure, it is more expensive, but it just feels so much better. The page turning is much better, the night mode is better. The little bit of extra real estate you get is noticeable. If you are an avid reader, this is a must purchase.

Purchased the Kindle Oasis for my daughter for Christmas. She was thrilled. She said it's easy to hold, and great for in the sun and nighttime reading. Extremely satisfied!

light, easy to use. cost of ebooks still seems high but I love using Libby (library app).

I love that im able to physically carry my current book, or any book for that matter, anywhere without a thick book. Reading at night is on a whole different level. 10/10

I love reading and I love how this is waterproof! I haven’t tried it at the Pool or in the bath but I’m hoping it does what it’s advertised as waterproof. Will update later, if it falls in the Pool or bath and it still functioning.

I have owned a number of Kindles. The differences are hard to quantify. The screen fonts are crisp and clear. The backlight is much appreciated and works well in a dark room. It is always slightly frustrating maneuvering around settings and content. The majority of the time I am reading so the frustrations are minor. For those that have never owned a kindle. Consider what it is like to have available for purchase just about any book and carrying around a library of books without dealing with the weight and bulk. There is also a dictionary available to check definitions and highlighting is also an available feature. Even large books download fairly quickly.

MY WIFE IS PRETTY MUCH BED RIDDEN. SHE DOES NOT READ PAPER BOOKS BECAUSE THE PRINT SIZE IS NOT TO HER LIKING. THE KINDLE READER TAKES CARE OF THIS.

Switched over from a Nook, love this one so much better! Pair it with Kindle Unlimited! Lasts weeks between charges and I read every night 2-3 hours before bed.

I was looking for a replacement e reader with a larger screen than my paperwhite. This fits the bill,

A little pricey but the features and the ergonomics outweigh the premium price. I learned a long time ago that it's better to pay the price for all the bells and whistles as opposed to buying a midrange product and find out you don't have features you would really like to have or need.

Not sure what I am paying for. The free Kindle app on my phone has more features then the Oasis. For this price it should not have a fixed storage capacity, should have wireless charging and should support immersion reading. Why would I need the ability to listen to a book on a separate $300 device without the ability to read along? I can just listen to a book from my phone. They put in the effort of giving it a cellular connection for whispersync but not immersion? Seems odd and their priorities seem to be off.

This was a gift for my wife. She loves it, said it’s a very good gift. It is use probably 5 hours a day and the battery last all week.

I like having the page forward and back buttons. The screen seems a bit larger and crisper. The only thing I would like to see is the charge lasting longer. I need to recharge it every 3 days. All in all, I love this reader.

I was hesitant to upgrade to the Oasis since my other Kindle still worked great. The selling feature for me was the buttons on the side for 'turning pages'. I love this feature, and that you can set each one to your preference (back/forward). The lighting and different themes make it easy on the eyes. I read every night and no issue. IMO, can't go wrong with a Kindle.

I use this daily and absolutely love everything about this little gem. I have had no issues and I get so much joy out of using this device.

My wife loved her Kindle oasis she said it was easy to set up and was nice to read with.

Love it! In particular, I love the change page buttons. It is easy to read and a great upgrade from my ancient Kindle that I did not like.
