I love this Kindle. I have had one for years and it finally stopped working. I begrudgingly bought the newer model. I love it. Love the buttons on the side. Not necessary, but I nice feature. The background lighting is perfect. I can read in the daytime, or at night without the lights on. I normally prefer reading a book, but this is rivaling that due to the convenience.

Great gift for an avid reader like myself. Size is great.

the description is misleading and i expected to receive a device similar in size to my fire. insteat the height is shorter. The delivery leaves a lot to be desired - the deliverer placed it next to my mailbox which is next to the road, 150 ft from my house. It could have been stolen easily.

I love my Kindle. It is so easy to read on it even if it is dark like when I was on an airplane. I love that I can get so many books from my library on it so easily and also read with my phone if my Kindle is not with me.

Kindle is definitely the standard bearer in terms of digital book reading. Only device I can use besides an actual book to enjoy reading because phone has too many distractions. Display is perfectly lit for day or night reading and Kindle seems to do a better job indexing my ebooks vs the phone app.

I upgraded from my Paperwhite to the Oasis specifically for the ability to invert white text on black background makes it the best for night time reading. Invert the colors, reduce the brightness, and you’ve unlocked the perfect device for reading in bed.

I read a lot so this is great for me to take with my anywhere. It is easy to work and turn pages.

I purchased my Kindle to be able to catch up on reading books that make up a series, such as the "Woman's Murder Club" series by James Patterson that are no longer available in hard copy. I am thrilled with the results, especially with the extra features available with the Kindle Oasis E-Reader.

I’m actually happy I got one of these I still haven’t opened it up yet but I heard very good rumors about it I’m just waiting on a screen protector and can’t wait to try it out

Like that this can "read" books for me (audio). Easy to adjust the font size. Much smaller than my DH, but easier to carry around. Like the back light and how it adjusts to room light.
