    My wife loves her Kindle(s). I added the "s" because this is her third one. they only seem to last two or three years and then they stop working properly. Then I have to make an emergency trip out to get her another one!

    I was new to a Kindle. Had only used iPads for reading. Did not find the directions to get started helpful - plus hard to actually access. You had to know how to use it in order to get to the instructions. Provide a separate link to an online procedure manual. Think how the user may approach this - especially if they are coming from a different device. Definitely need a usability testing and a good technical writer on your directions and interface. Was very close to returning it out of pure frustration. Accidentally stumbled onto accessing from library. Aren't there any books available that you don't have to buy - other than library books (if you can figure out how to get there). Still trying to make my way forward.
