I am an avid reader so ran to pick up a new one at Best Buy. The rep at the store was very helpful and within a very short time, I was heading home with my new Kindle. The kindle paperwhite allows you to read in bed with no lighting! It doesn't strain your eyes and allows your spouse to sleep while you are reading. I feel that this is the best gift you can purchase for anyone!

I love my Kindle Paperwhite

Perfect for vacation, one tablet and as many books as you can get through! Love to float around the pool while reading. Actually dropped in the pool, and was no problem. Let it dry completely before charging it was good to go!

Good size and good battery

The battery has been fantastic, and these peace of mind with having an item that is meant to be alright when exposed to water makes me very comfortable to travel with it in the rain or to read and relax poolside. There was a bit of a learning curve to learn what areas needed to tap or swipe, but with a little patience (with this being my first kindle) its becoming much easier.

She loves it! I hate to say it, but sometimes I have to wake up at night to tell her to go to sleep because she gets lost in her books! She says that it id as easy on the eyes as a paperbook under a single lamp.

Small enough to comfortable hold but large enough to read. Good light control. Lightweight. Excellent battery life. Glad I got the 16Gb for all the books I have. Very easy to load with purchased books.
