Love my Kindle! Enjoying reading again! Those few quiet moments to unwind and relax at night without worrying about disturbing others have been a blessing!

I’m so glad I chose to buy my Kindle at Best Buy! I looked everywhere for one, and Best Buy was the ONLY store to have one in stock and in store! The Kindle Paperwhite is the perfect E-Reader and I cannot put it down!

You have to pay $20 to get the ads removed that’s what I did other than that I love it.

I'm usually not a reader but my girlfriend talked me into a kindle because of hers and it changed my life. Reading on this kindle has been amazing. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoy reading so having a device that feels as much like a book as a device could is nice. I still prefer real paper but for travel and cost you can't go wrong with a kindle. The photo is of the case I bought as well. I would highly recommend getting a case.

Great device, shame about the commercials. I am no ready to pay to get rid of them when I bought the Kindle.

I love the size, the ease of reading in various lighting, its long battery life and its light-weight handling! I would highly recommend this kindle book.

I considered the color versions of the Kindle e-readers, but found their contrast to be too low for comfort, and opted for this model. I think I'm glad I did...since the text is crisp and clear (in sufficient light, or with the backlight on). Its battery usage is wonderful, lasting typically a week or two with fairly heavy use. My one complaint, so far, at least, besides the gray-scale pictures, is that signing in is frustrating in low light. I normally leave the backlight off, since I typically have sufficient light to read without it. However, when I need to turn on the device (which I have passcode-protected), it turns on the backlight during the initial start-up, but then, inexplicably, turns it OFF when asking for the code. This is very annoying, and requires unnecessary planning ahead to ensure that the backlight is ON at this point (by turning it on, then shutting off the device). The user interface is a little clunky, compared to the Kindle app on iPhone, but since I spend the vast majority of my time with the device simply reading, it's not a major issue.

Absolutely worth it for battery life and screen brightness alone. Cases for it were also super easy to find and my wife got one that has a strap for her hand to allow for comfortable reading. The unit is incredibly lightweight so it's not really an issue either way, but I'm at least glad it's protected. Definitely grab it during a sale as they can get a bit pricey.

I love my new Kindle. I can adjust the font size and brightness of the screen so that i can read longer without my eyes getting tired. Stays charged for a long time.

The Kindle is easy to use, responsive, and has great battery life. I appreciate that it has dark mode and you can adjust the screen brightness. I’ve been trying to get back into reading and this has helped so much! I’ve read 21 books since June 1st! It is easy to send books from Libby to the Kindle app.

I purchased the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16GB (2024) for my wife’s birthday, and she absolutely loves it. The screen is very clear and easy on the eyes, even after long reading sessions. She really likes how lightweight it is, and the 16GB of storage is more than enough for all her books. The battery life is impressive — she can read for days without needing to charge it. It’s a perfect upgrade from her older Kindle. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and comfortable e-reader!

I purchased this for my wife for Christmas 2024 and she has absolutely loved it! i did some research before purchasing and found that this model is faster than the previous Paper White which appealed to me! i love the fact that i can side load books for her to read and the battery life is AMAZING it last for a while she like to read at night and can dim the light on it plus it has a night time reading mode.

I had historically been a real book reader but have found myself reading in bed before I got to sleep more and more these days and it was becoming uncomfortable to hold the book and the even the little pocket lights I found on amazon to use were bothering my wife sleeping next to me. So I purchased this kindle and have no become a total convert. The ability to adjust font and brightness were fantastic and given the slightly larger size of this kindle over the basic does make a huge difference for me in not missing a physical book. Amongst the many little conveniences of this e-reader, I particularly like that I can touch on a word and the kindle will provide a definition rather than reaching for a phone. Also, to combat the need to actually hold the kindle, I purchased a “tablet holder” on Amazon for $20 which comfortably bends around the back of my neck and holds the kindle in place so all I have to do is raise a finger to turn the page when reading in bed. I would also mention that the kindle does great outdoors as well, obviously this kindle being the upgrade over the basic does wonders for adjusting to different lighting conditions. I get that some people but may be reluctant to pay bit of money up front for an e-trader but this has been one of the best purchases I have made in a while. If you Iove reading, it’s a seriously fun upgrade over a traditional book.

Works great. Much easier on the eyes and the sleep pattern than reading using Kindle app on your phone, tablet or computer. Small and light. Lighter and smaller than a single book, but obviously good many at once.
