It makes reading more convenient. I can read at night without a light keeping anyone else awake. I am able to buy the next book in a series I’m reading immediately without having to leave my home. I love it & would recommend it to anyone who loves to read!

I really enjoy reading so having a device that feels as much like a book as a device could is nice. I still prefer real paper but for travel and cost you can't go wrong with a kindle. The photo is of the case I bought as well. I would highly recommend getting a case.

Great display and excellent battery life. The size is perfect (just small enough to take places but big enough to read off of). I thought I'd have a problem with reading this instead of books, but I honestly prefer the kindle to an actual book. It had dark mode, which is great for reading at night. I absolutely love that you can hightlight, mark-up, and look up the definitions to words easily.

This is a great functioning device and very intuitive to use by my nine-year-old. The only downside is not being able to divorce this from Amazon as I would like to load from Libby or overdrive directly to the device rather than having to use the very convoluted process to get library books on the Kindle. The addition of the paperwhite screen has been very beneficial for late night reading on the e-ink screen. The devices battery holds a really good charge, especially consider there’s a back screen. It would be nice if the automatic brightness was either there or function a little better to turn off when there’s ambient light. I don’t think the cost over the normal Kindle justifies itself with the back light, I wish it was cheaper, especially since it’s getting close to the base iPad pad price.

AMAZING. I love the size not too big not too small. Perfect to take on the go. The screen is perfect not to harsh on my eyes and makes reading quick and easy with the different reading options. Lightweight and easy to hold.

I love to read and having a book on me at all times. while my phone is a great device, the small text can be distracting and after awhile a strain on my eyes. The kindle paperwhite is a nice alternative with a long battery life, holding almost my entire library, and easy to see in the dark. it seems lighter than my old first generation kindle, and the text is clear as day.

I purchased the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16GB (2024) for my wife’s birthday, and she absolutely loves it. The screen is very clear and easy on the eyes, even after long reading sessions. She really likes how lightweight it is, and the 16GB of storage is more than enough for all her books. The battery life is impressive — she can read for days without needing to charge it.
