This model is the one with a backlight if you like to read at night. It was a replacement for my kindle from about 10+ years ago. If you love reading then you know what to expect. It's great for night reading in bed or while commuting to work. It's lightweight and easy to carry around, I would get this if you like to have a library of books with you on the go.

Love this Kindle! I use it all of the time and the ability to use anywhere is amazing. I use it on bright sunny days and the text is still high quality.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and he LOVES IT! It is so lightweight, the battery life is incredible. He has only had to change it once in 4 weeks. The lighting is perfect at night when I am trying to sleep I don't even notice it! 10/10 Recommend!

If you are wondering if it’s worth it, don’t wonder more. It is! Super light, beautiful resolution, and the amount of customization is perfect. Very portable. One good cover and you are good to go. I only dislike the ad screen when not in use. It’s an Amazon thing.

This is my wife’s second kindle in 8 years. We bought her one years ago while she was pregnant with our son and we knew she was getting a c-section. It didn’t make sense for her to have to lug around physical copies while in recovery and also having to get up for a new book from her TBR when she was done with a book if she didn’t have to. Of course I could run her books around but we had 3 other kids at the time. So getting her a kindle was the best thing we ever did. She can finish a book in about 3-5 days so this made transitioning between books way smoother and it connects to her good reads. Her old kindle started lagging a few months ago so I got her this one for Christmas. She loves the color it’s really vibrant. And it’s way faster and way more responsive. I think she also finished books even faster with this thing lol

Love love love my Kindle and thought it would make a great gift for my MIL. She absolutely loves using it so far and has been taking it everywhere and taking any chance to read her favorite novel(s).

Simple yet effective. My girlfriend is trying to get more and more into books and this has become a great help. Even though it’s a digital device it beats reading on a phone or iPad. Very comfortable screen. Great size, no distractions while reading
