I bought to use on the library app Libby. Mistake! Got to go to library site, borrow, send to kindle. Too many steps needed. Cannot read magazines from the Libby site on my kindle. Have to keep using my small phone.

First I ordered it for pickup but then they were all sold. I changed my order to delivery with the promise of 1 day shipping however they didn't send it to the shipper on time and so it took a week to get here. But yeah the Kindle is amazing

Horrible replacement for the Oasis

This one has no side buttons (no Kindles have that feature anymore). I hate that. This one will not rotate the screen, which is pretty convenient for reading in bed when you switch from side to side. So basically Boo Amazon for not having an option with buttons and/or screen rotation.

We are constantly working to improve upon our lineup of products to ensure that customers get the most enjoyment out of their devices. The buttons and auto rotating features were two beloved features in our Oasis model and hopefully will make it back someday into our lineup at some point. This device does come with a much lower pricepoint than the older Oasis did although we understand that doesn't always equate to a good tradeoff when losing features you are used to.
