Called support they said it was gonna be in Friday. I go by store they said it’s still delayed and order will be canceled In 5 days due to delay. They asked did I want to cancel now and reorder I said no that when I called it said it was in. He said go to that seat there I get there the lady said I canceled your order. Just as soon as they canceled another lady set my tablet on the counter said here is your order? They proceed to tell me I had to re order due to them canceling and that I wouldn’t get it for Black Friday price now! Also they couldn’t hold the kindle for me! That my money would be in in 10-15. Business days and I could reorder! They canceled not me! Also site forces you to give them a star or you can’t submit review!

Posted .Hello DavidA! I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble being able to use this with your public library. This device is definitely compatible with most public libraries but most of those libraries use a 3rd party app or service for them to be used digitally to take out books. One such service is the smartphone app Libby, for example. With Libby, you can input your library card if your local public library is a compatible library. Once this is done, you would then peruse or search for whatever book you want. If your public library has any of those books available, you can then take it out for 21 days. Once you take it out, it then gives you the option to open the book on your smartphone or there is a button to tap that says "Read with Kindle". This will require you to login to your same Amazon account you signed your Kindle up to (this usually only needs to be done once) and then you will see your library book show up in your Library on your device. This is just one such example. My suggestion would be to work with your local public library to see what eBook system they use.
