We are constantly working to improve upon our lineup of products to ensure that customers get the most enjoyment out of their devices. The buttons and auto rotating features were two beloved features in our Oasis model and hopefully will make it back someday into our lineup at some point. This device does come with a much lower pricepoint than the older Oasis did although we understand that doesn't always equate to a good tradeoff when losing features you are used to. You can get free books on your Kindle Paperwhite from Amazon's free section, Libby for library loans, plus Prime Reading if you have Amazon Prime; find them directly in the Kindle Store on your device or via the Amazon website by searching "free Kindle books," then send them to your Paperwhite wirelessly.
