Upgraded from my previous Kindle. Very impressed wit this one. Easy to setup. Easy to use. And easy to read on it. Set it up to your personal preferences. I think if I had 1 thing to complain about it, the battery life does not last as long as the previous versions. But it still last for several hours. Highly recommended

I love this reader! It’s excellent and will mostly replace my bookshelf since I need the space. It’s light and can be held like a book. It has great functionality and downloads books quickly. It can be used with a cell phone hotspot in order to download a new book on the go or on the beach. It’s not 100% glare proof, but it’s close enough.

Perfect for reading on the go, especially in the sun. Despite guarantees that this type of display was made to be read outside/in the sun I still had my doubts, but no more! I don't find myself squinting and straining to read against any glare- I could not be happier with this reader.

This is the first kindle type tablet that I have bought. My sister has a regular kindle and you can definitely tell the difference in lighting and clarity! I love that the battery lasts so long and I don’t have to charge for weeks. I have always loved reading books but quit for a couple years and this kindle has brought the enjoyment back!

Purchased for spouse as a gift. Great functionality, storage space, battery life, and performance. Small screen is 50/50; depends on what the user wants. For travel, the size is perfect. Great for reading in any environment (dark/bright/outside/inside). Absolutely recommended.

I was reading on the iPad forever, but the noticeable difference in eye strain is appreciable! Even though the file formats are limited, I still have zero regrets about this purchase (: it took me forever to find a case, too (I'm picky) but once I did, it made the purchase that much better ^_^

I bought this compact Kindle for my wife who has gotten great use out of her larger one, but wanted one that was easier to carry in her purse and keep with her, much like her phone. She loved it so much she signed up for an e-book subscription service.

Nice ereader. Like that the screen is no longer recessed. Makes it easy to keep clean. Easy on the eyes. Additional lights are welcome as they eliminate some shadows that earlier model had.
