Coming from tablet based Kindle App for reading books for many years over to being first time Kindle Paperwhite owner now. I was able read 2 times more books on this new Kindle without having any tired eyes. Same feedback given by my Child. So worth spent money on another tech item. No comparison between a tablet touch experience and purely a reader so iPad and other users may feel this slow and not intuitive; pls treat it just as a reader. Does it’s job purely as a reader; Build Quality is not excellent but good; hence a star less What I did not like was: It’s slow;

Love this Kindle. I bought this to replace one I lost after only a year. I love the new features of the library of grouping books together. It is great to use in a pool, on the beach, on a plane, in a car and in bed! My husband likes it becasue the light from the kindle doesn't get into his eyes or keep him from sleeping. Great for avid readers!

I love it! Very easy to use, and I like the backlight when I read before going to sleep. I use it mainly to check books out of the local library.

Purchased as a present for my Dad. I did a ton of searching and overall this specific brand and model has the best ratings and I would rather buy a pet rock than an Apple product. My Dad loves it and it works great and he loves all the special features it came with. We did buy the largest capacity since he travels a lot for work and uses it for books and movies or shows.

I own seven Kindles going all the way back to the kindle with the key pad. I have purchased all of them from Best Buy. I have two 32 gb kindles and I love them because they can hold so much more. Most of the books I purchase are "free" or 99 cents from Amazon so I have a lot of them. I also bought the protective cover and that works fine as well.
