I really like my new Kindle. This is my first. There is no glare in any light, it is lightweight, and I can get the font size I need whenever it's necessary. Still learning how to use all the features.

Great device for reading. Reduced eye strain. Nice to store several books at once. Decent battery life- weeks of battery seems like a stretch, but I do get 7 days on a single charge, which is nice. Also, caught is 4 on sale, otherwise seems a bit pricey

My wife loves the size, the brightness of the screen and the weight of the unit. She says it's just what she wanted. She questions how many books she can get on the screen in the memory. But I told her I do believe she can add memory.

My wife may just be having bad luck with her kindles but she is on her third one in as many years. We had one through Amazon that they replaced with a refurbished one which worked great but unfortunately was stolen at a restaurant we had gone to. A second one through amazon, that was purchased brand new, stopped working after about 13 months and there was nothing they would do except give us a 10% discount. I bought this one just about a month ago before a vacation and although she can read, the device will either unexpectedly become stuck where pages won’t turn and you cannot go back to the home screen or, it will simply turn itself off. I will be going back to BB today to either exchange or return the device. When these work, they work really well. The sun is not a problem, the battery life is great and the size of it is perfect.

I was planning to buy my first Amazon Kindle, checking the different models, debating on whether to pay more for one that was not ad supported or not. On the day I decided to make a purchase Best Buy had a better price than Amazon. I was able to drive to my local Best Buy and pick up the device rather than waiting for a delivery. I got the 32 GB device instead of the 8 GB as it has more space for Audible books which take up considerably more space than e-books. The Ad-supported feature is not that bad. It is only displayed on the sleep/wake screen and can be removed for $20 later if you cannot live with it.

Purchased for my wife. We are both voracious readers and have been using Kindles for years. This Kindle is very light and has a great backlight. We haven't tested the new waterproof feature, hoping we never do.

I've had an old kindle for a while, but this one is even better. The same glare free screen with tons of storage and battery life.

Upgraded from a 1st gen Kindle eReader (no touchscreen, no backlit, keyboard, etc) so this one seems like a rocketship by comparison. But it is so much lighter, sharper, easier to read.

This is our first Kindle purchased. Surpringly viewable in daylight or night time room lighting. Extra space for audible is a bonus. Will try that out when we find a book to listen to.

Easy to find a case for, easy to set up and transfer everything from previous kindle over and all the books. Loving using it in the tub or hot tub without worry.

I like this product! It is not heavy so you can bring it with you for anywhere. The best thing is the possibility to regulate the light. The only thing that I do not like at all is that flashes black when turning pages and when navigating changing the menus.

I have always liked owning physical copies. However, a series I wanted to buy was sold out everywhere so I found myself looking at a Kindle. A lot of reviews said it sells out fast here and they weren’t kidding. Luckily the same day this was listed as out of stock I checked back and was able to buy it on sale. It’s been wonderful for reading anywhere and the case I got makes it easier to read than any book would ever be. I also don’t have to worry about storage for a bunch of books I’m buying. I find that they run way cheaper buying them as an e-book as well. The battery lasts ages which is awesome cause I read for hours on end. Highly recommend!

Fantastic choice for those of us who already spend long hours in front of screens and want to take better care of our eyes. It’s very light and portable, and battery life is super efficient.

I replaced a earlier version of the Kindle with this paper white reader. I love that the product is easy to use, light weight and I loved the splash of color!

Love love love this kindle! I have kiddos and regular books are super hard for me to read not to mention how to keep track of where I was in the middle of the interruptions. I love my kids but this kindle gives me mini escapes to read and enjoy a story. My kids also enjoy being read to from mommies special book. It has become apart of my everyday and I love that I don’t have to stress about their little spills or messes ruining my books lol. The back light on this is amazing I don’t have to use it to it’s full strength and love that I can read at night while rocking my youngest to sleep.

I love my kindle! I have read about 20 books in the month I've owned it. I have read it im the sun on the beach and was perfect no sunglasses needed! Best purchase!

Read a lot. Can take with me easily. Fits in my bag for travel. I like being able to change font size as needed. Easy to download books onto kindle

Was looking for an e-Reader without a bunch of extra functions- and this one was perfect. Love the weight as well as the ease of operating it.

Loving it! I tried reading on my iPad but it’s too big. This is just the right size and much easier to look at while reading.
