The batter life is great and the paperwhite look makes it feel like I am reading the real thing. My next upgrade will be a bigger version but for now this device is perfect.

I love this because it's waterproof. I take this everywhere I go. I read in the carafe I am a passenger. I read on this while at the beach. I read while I am eating sometimes. The best product ever for those who really love to read like I do. And I got kindle unlimited too.

From a skeptic I’m in love!

Well they were right! The ease of use makes life so much better! The options available for books is endless. The background is perfect and nothing like I imagined it to be. Highly recommend!

Just what I expected

I bought this to replace it, and though there are still some rough edges in the Kindle OS (like occasional crashes when opening a big book), the hardware here is great. It looks nice, the touchscreen works well, and I love that it’s waterproof because I absolutely take it in the bath.

Can’t live without it

I got a third when I lost my 2nd for a month because I didn’t want to go without any longer. Found 2nd not long after so it is back up now but let daughter borrow it. My 3rd one died after 5 yrs so I got number 4 and I love reading on it. It’s so much lighter than a thick paperback or hardcover. I’m you can adjust the brightness but now on newest one now I can adjust the brightness as well. On vacation I usually have at least 10 books loaded so I never run out of reading material and my kindle is much lighter in the suitcase than that many books. I subscribe to one of favorite magazines which gets delivered automatically. Plus, I can adjust the font size if I can’t find my reading glasses. So much more convenient than a physical book but yet the screen looks very close to paper- it is not like reading on a computer screen at all!

Never thought that I'd give in and get a kindle. Now, I can't be without it. It is wonderful and simple to use. Debated getting the kindle without ads, but haven't been irritated by them on this device. Love that it is waterproof, antiglare for outside, and has the option for color warmth in the darkness,
