Good product for the money. Use it mainly for Bible study and following sermon presentations. A bit difficult to navigate from one Bible book to the other.

This is my first Kindle and it's pretty great. I used to buy books but now it's so easy to have all your books in one device. No longer need to have a bunch of books clutter your space in your home.

In my opinion there is no better E Reader on the market. This is my second one. I had the first one for about 10 years and just decided to upgrade because of some new features but my old one still works great.

Totally worth upgrading, I have previous version with 6 inch display, and trust me the increase in display size might be small on paper, but in person it’s a huge difference. Plus all other upgrades makes this best kindle to date.

I bought this recently as I grew tired of reading on my iPhone and iPad. The former is too small and the latter too big and both are too heavy. This Kindle is Goldilocks of screens, exactly right. The digital ink actually makes for a reading experience that is both closer to paper than LCD screens and also better as well. Also, in direct light I usually turn off the back light to conserve power as it really isn't needed. This would be ideal for reading poolside on a bright day. The only downside is that the screen has a slight but perceptible delay to it, sort of like computers from the late '90s. It's not bad, really, but just not as instantaneous as an iPhone or iPad. Still, for the purpose of reading books, I believe it is outstanding. Highly recommended.

I had a much older kindle I used. However, reading it in the dark using the built in light bothered my eyes. When I found out this one had a warm light feature, I bought it and I love it.

Love my kindle! Just wish I could do the immersive reading with it where I can listen to the audio book at the same time while following along in the book.

Definitely a must have for the reader on your list. I gave this to my daughter for her birthday. I have had mine for several years an love it! Easy to hold, like the adjustable light.

It feels cheap but it works. On startup controls and screen are jittery for a while. It comes with a free trial to Amazon music, why not Kindle Unlimited?

I bought this for my mother and she loves it! She uses it everyday and even brings it to work. She is a Night Shift nurse, so she finds herself with some down time and has said nothing but great things.

I love to read and have used a kindle for many years, this is the second one I purchased and I would highly recommend the paper white. Lots of great features for reading in all different lighting

Nice when wanting to read on the go. I was afraid I wouldn't like this because I get bad headaches when looking at normal screens to long, but this is just like a book. Super easy to use.

Works good so far, screen lighting and font sizes are adjustable and easy to read. This model has Adds on the screen when kindle is idle that I could do without but they don't affect anything. Charge lasts longer than I have needed so far and USB-C is that same as my phone. Graphics not in color so pics are not as good in some cases. Overall it is a convenient way to read and browse new books. Can't really see being without one.

Not a fan of it personally. It's a pretty cool device just not a fan of the whole thing in general

It’s exactly what I wanted. A device to put my books on so I don’t carry 10 lbs of books through the airport. The size is similar to a paper book and I can read the screen even in the sun.

Bought this as a gift for my niece. She travels a lot and loves to read. I thought this would be much better than carrying a backpack full of books. After a week of use she told me she really likes this kindle.
