I love the kindle white i can just put it in my purse. I love that i dont have to go to the library anymore. If you love to read or want to start reading this is a must have. The battery life last me for awhile.

Best thing I’ve purchased in years! I bought this to read more while giving my eyes a break from conventional screens. It's been great, super portable, it's water proof so I don't have to worry about where I leave it. Able to download loads of books and the screen is super easy on my eyes, I can even read at night before going to bed instead of being on my phone. 10/10.

I love it so far. I bought the previous version to replace my kindle touch. And I hated it. I decided to splurge since my other kindle is only 2 years old. I'm glad I did. It has the same charger as my phone. The battery lasts forever and the screen is bigger. Its just the right size. I think the light automatically adjusts which really saves the battery. Now i just miss the whispernet.

I inherited my mom's Kindle Fire, which I thought was fine for reading books. But after using it for awhile, my eyes were starting to hurt. Plus it's a little heavy. After doing some research and talking to friends, I settled on the Kindle Paperwhite. I am in love! It's so lightweight!! And my eyes don't hurt at all!!

It was a gift for my husband, so far he loves it and takes it with him everywhere he goes where there might be a change for a quick read (waiting rooms, waiting to pick up our kids from school, airport). It is lightweight, the image is sharp, the light is perfect and doesn't tire the eyes like a regular tablet. I would 100% recommend it to any avid readers out there.

Reading truly is nicer and more flexible. I never gave e-ink readers a chance until now. Wish I did, these are great! Battery lasts for two weeks with daily use. Watch your brightness, and do yourself the favor of using a warm setting. No joke, I can read faster with warm tones. IDK might just be me.

I love this device. Light weight and a perfect size so it can go anywhere with me. Even the pool since it’s waterproof!

Took a chance on the next size up in Kindle and it was perfect. This Kindle can still fit nicely in jacket pockets for long-wait doctor visits and the batter lasts so much longer than the last generation. Plus getting to hold it and feel it in the store make the purchase experience better.

First off - I love having an e-reader and the kindle is one of the best. This newer slightly larger size is well weighted and the screen is clear and crisp. I don’t catch myself hitting the bottom power button quite as much as the prior version I had (maybe just the way I hold it). The screen colors and contrast are nicely done. Book downloads are fast. The only reason for a four star rating is the speed. These are not overly complex devices and it annoys me sometimes on the processing speed (in comparison to modern phone). Highlighting text, hitting settings, browsing kindle books online, etc all seem slow (hit or hold, wait a second, then the action). It would seem like a slightly better processor on Amazon’s part would improve the experience and not raise the cost much at all. Other than that I really enjoy this newer version

I LOVE my kindle. It’s every book in the palm of your hand. I haven't put it down. I also love how small and easy it is to put in my purse and take it anywhere. The one thing I am so surprised by is the battery, it last weeks without having to charge it.

Great product. Long battery life and very lite weight. Easy/clear to read. Loading books from a library app is a bit cumbersome. Overall happy with the product. Would recommend and would buy again.

I've been a kindle user since the first one was released and this is the best one yet. Battery life is amazing, backlit screen is not to hard on your eyes, and the size is great.

Excellent device. The backlight and temp (warm/cool) controls are a nice upgrade over the 2019 model I switched from. These Paperwhites are an excellent value. Battery life is solid, even with the backlight and Wifi on. I find I charge it mostly out of want, rather than need.

This was a nice upgrade for myself personally, but may not be for others. Finally a USB C port for charging. My previous generation Kindle was the last device I owned that used micro USB. One less charging cable I need hanging around. The size difference on paper may not seem much, but it makes a difference. It is still light weight and portable. It has water resistance as well. There are more backlights compared to the previous model and makes it a little easier on the eyes. There is also a warmth mode to help those who read at night to help avoid bright screens before you go to bed. This can be set manually, at times or automatically early in the morning and at night, but this will require you to allow the sharing of your location. Not a big deal for me, but it may be for others. I got this on sale, but even the regular pricing is fair.

I invested in this Kindle because I travel a lot and also read a lot at night. The Kindle paperwhite is lightweight, easy on the eyes, and the battery can last for weeks if you use it in airplane mode. You can also download ebooks and audiobooks for free on the Libby app using your library card, and have them sent to your e-reader which is a great way to save money!
