    The first Kindle Paperwhite I purchased wouldn’t download my books. I returned that and got another one. This one won’t open into the kindle store. Not impressed with this particular brand of Kindle. Best Buy’s staff was very nice and helpful.

    Returned item because it cannot download the free bibles due to eBooks copywrite. However it can download all sorts of bible study apps!

    I confess: I loved my early version keyboard-equipped Kindle reader. When it finally began cracking here and there, I dreaded replacing it. I don't like this Paperwhite other than its price. Maybe I should have spent more $, but I'm not sure the more costly versions really work better. The screen is decently readable. Pages turn OK, though sometimes seemingly randomly. Purchasing and downloading new books is hit and miss with the device. Better be ready to use your computer to buy and to tell Amazon to download to your device. The book may get there. Perhaps I sometimes expect too much from 8GB, but I always left home on vacation with several books loaded to my ancient Kindle. Often I get away only to discover that the titles I thought I was bringing along aren't in memory. I camp, and if I don't have good WiFi, I'm outta luck! The dang thing won't use a phone hotspot to access books, so forget reading.
