    I got this as a Christmas present for my daughter and she loves it. She said her only compaint is that it's not in color like on her phone but that's a trade off she'll make to be able to read on something besides her phone.

    I may be one of the only people who don't like the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite. It's overpriced for what it does, slow, and its return on investment, compared to the Amazon Fire tablet is pitiful. The display is painfully dim - even when set to the brightest setting. The Fire tablet can sometimes be purchased for half the cost of the Paperwhite and connects to the web easily, can display photos and graphics, play music and stream TV shows and movies. Oh, it also has the Anazon Kindle app built-in. All around it is a far better purchase than the Kindle Paperwhite.

    Terrible experience with this order. Ordered it the 20th of December from Best Buy. 2 weeks went by, come to find out it was damaged in shipping and was unable to be delivered. I asked for another one to be sent out, which took over a week to go through the process of insurance for them to just send me a gift card instead. Will never buy anything from Best Buy again.

    It is not user friendly..I find it very difficult to use and the directions do not help me...I enjoyed my older kindle much more; it is about 12 years old... it is ok for just downloading books and reading them... I wish I had someone to really guide me so I would enjoy it better. I would really appreciate it.
