Upgraded foe more storage and now waterproof! Same great paperwhite I love only better!

The Amazon- Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader is easy to use and great to fit in your purse. lightweight. I will recommend to my friends and family.

I never thought I'd want to give up paper books but this is great! I got one for my husband a month ago because he was having trouble reading books - small print, dark pages, etc. Now he's back to reading like crazy. So I bought one too and just love it. Easy to set up and get books loaded immediately when I purchase through Amazon.

This was a gift for my Fiance who loves to read. Admittedly, she was skeptical changing over from paper books to what is essentially a thin tablet, but she fell in love in a short amount of time. According to her, the greatest positives are: -The great battery life -The ability to read a screen easily in the sun -The color of the screen reflects that of book paper and looks very similar

She takes it everywhere. Not heavy. Ling battery life. Great viewing even in the sun

I love how lightweight this is and that there is absolutely no glare. But the screen flickers every time you do anything except turning a page. Very frustrating.

Kindle Paperwhite is my latest Kindle. I've owned several generations but I like this one they best. It's slim, good clarity and I can listen to books via Bluetooth. For the price point, it's the best one out there. I didn't remove the ads, as they only show up when it goes in sleep mode. Also, the standard 8 Gig is more than enough for ebooks.

Since this Kindle is based on a linux instead of an android system, the interface is a little different than what I've been used to. I mainly got this as a backup item and to use in the bathtub. For all that it advertises itself as waterproof, it warns not to submerse it in water and to carefully set it up to drain and not turn it on if it does get dropped in the water. The interface is finicky and the web browser is mediocre. However, I've wanted a tablet I can read in the bathtub or by the pool forever, and this is the best option. I got the version with ads, but you can turn the screen off so they're not showing all the time.

The one thing that sold me on this was the waterproof feature. The lag is noticeable, yet still tolerable. It’s ridiculously light, and does very well in high and low light areas.

As a former Kindle Fire owner, I was really looking forward to the Kindle Paperwhite due to its straightforwardness. I didn't want a reader that was similar to an iPad--that's what I have my computer and phone for. This Kindle is so easy to travel with, the battery lasts forever, and you can't really beat the antiglare. Love this purchase!

FTW, just saying. My wife broke her OG kindle many moons ago. We replaced it with my iPad and she has never been as happy. She really only uses it to read kindle. iPad is heavy and short battery compared to a kindle, we found this one on sale for $20 less and she is so happy with it. It is waterproof also since the bath is how she broke the last one including a first iPad before mine...

Kindle paper white is really easy to use. The only reason for 4 starts and not 5 is that when you turn the page it flickers and is annoying. Other than that, it is a good deal.
